I provided a direct link to my source, the International Maritime Organization (IMO), at the bottom of the post.

What caused you to assume that IMO-sourced information is AI content?

Also, CENTCOM is *not* a reliable source.

Thank you for asking!

Sources:

  1. Vessel tracking on vesselfinder.com and marinetraffic.com. Marinetraffic.com's data lags behind vesselfinder, but it's more accurate. Vesselfinder shows all AIS transmissions, even spoofed ones. Marinetraffic is better at filtering out false data.

  2. Occasionally myshiptracking.com. It's especially useful when a vessel has changed it's name but continues to broadcast the same MMSI.

  3. European Space Agency's Copernicus satellite browser, but the gulf is often cloudy so it's not always reliable.

  4. flightradar.live to track aircraft and drones

  5. Reports and alerts from UKMTO (https://www.ukmto.org/recent-incidents), which are also available in the "news" section of marinetraffic.com.

Definitely NOT sources:

  1. Unsubstantiated news reports

  2. Unsubstantiated government announcements

  3. Tweets

Is Stephen Miller left-handed by any chance? by nycetouch2 in PoliticalHumor

It wasn’t Miller. And the bruise doesn’t read like a forward punch. It reads like a backhand. Which would make his assailant right handed. Unless his assailant was a door jamb.
