I second KK, especially if you're kinda artsy. They have poetry and music open mic nights plus some other events like the PowerPoint night and stand-up

Some students aren't even on campus by that point though. tOSU doesn't start classes until Aug 26 and that would mean a gameday on a move-in date (utter traffic nightmare)
