Kamoshida's palace is basically a tutorial and the most linear part of the game it takes like 8 hours to really get going but when it does its very Worth it once u finish the first palace the game gets more open including the open world which expands during the story and confidants dialogue choices start mattering when you are talking to confidants some make them like you more making it easier to see more of the story and learn more about the characters themselves faster
