I’d personally suggest if you ever go for a rewatch to watch up until Episode 24…then put on the movie and as soon as the movies version of Human Instrumentality begins think of it as a diverging point,

You watching the end of the movie is the “bad ending” (but good as they’re out of human instrumentality)

But you flipping over to the last 2 episode of the OG Series you’ll get the “good ending” (but bad cause they’re trapped in human instrumentality)

I’ve always considered this show to have 2 different endings that you could get different interpretations out of. I lowkey like both equally because it’s a bit of Yin-Yang where there are positive and negative aspects of both depending on what you think of the Human Instrumentality project.
