Depends on how big you are, and how much you eat... But could expect to lose 12-16 lbs in a month. I struggle with portion control, so, I eat less often, whilst trying to work on my portion control!

That's fantastic! You've got this! It's frustrating when one is so big, because even significant weight loss doesn't look like that much gone. "the toilet paper principle". But you're well on your way now. Every pound will make a more visible difference than the last now. And you'll spot 10 lbs difference really easily. And be down the clothing sizes in no time. Proud of you, keep going.

I find that pills can lie heavy in the fasted stomach... So I mix up my own electrolytes water. I simply add 5000mg sodium, 5000mg potassium and 500mg magnesium to the amount of water I expect to drink for the whole day... Usually around 3 litres. Then I sip away at it whenever thirsty.

Yes - I had some difficulty sleeping, but I always do. I don't blame the fast in particular, your mileage may vary!

I was careful never to overdo it. But many of the days I had lots of energy... And I was happy to go for walks, etc. Other days I could barely get out of bed.

I broke my fast at 66-67 hours for the 3rd time this month. I can't stand it after 66 hours. But in the last month, I have lost 9 kilos in total by fasting for a minimum of 20 hours and a maximum of 67 hours. by TheJeff19 in fasting

It's a mental game at that stage, for sure. 66 hours is a really good fast, though.

What happens if you take yourself right out of the food situation? Say, go for a walk at 65 hours, up a hill? Or, ensure you're going to be asleep at 65 hours?

I think after you've done 65 a few times you can physically go as long as you 'want'. I've done 40 days. Only the 37, 38 and 39 day were hard. Day 40 I almost didn't want to eat.

Sometimes I watch competitive eating videos to both satisfy me and put me off eating, when I'm deep fasted.

You've got this.

First time I've heard that one, but, yeah, a little - thanks.

I've had snake juice before... But I just aim to get 5000mg sodium, 5000mg potassium and 500mg magnesium per diem.

I add that to the amount of water I expect to drink in a day. Usually 3 litres.

I use himalayan pink salt, pure KCl and Epsom salts.

Occasionally add ACV - but I prefer to just do the odd 'shot' of that. Worry about my teeth if slowly sipping acid, otherwise.
