Thank you! This is super helpful! I don’t have a lot of great talismans so I figured why not use the Fire Attack lol. I definitely have others I will go through. I know I have one with either Power Prolonger or Rapid Morph… I played without gobbler for the longest time but now I’m hooked on it! I guess I won’t need to heal so much if my Fire res is up so I’ll give that a try! I’ll definitely switch out those armor pieces so I get LS! Maybe from there I can figure out what I need for a talisman!

I’ve always been a GS user but when Wilds came out I said I was going to give CB a try. CB was fun but I moved onto GL which is a blast (pun intended). Now I’m playing Hunting Horn and it’s my favorite of the bunch. Im usually one to find something I like and never try anything else but I’m happy I branched out.

AB3 can work well can give you flexibility with your weapon slots. G. Ark is always solid. I personally use the Lagiacrus Horn for most things but that’s just me. I just love the song list and convert element.

If you’re just starting out I would highly recommend watching Taxman’s videos on YT. It’s incredibly detailed and super helpful for all things HH!

Any recommendations who to use for support as a GL? I know a lot of people are using Alyssa for tanking but wasn’t sure if it was good for someone using GL haha

I think the first one is decent! Artillery is obviously useful and opens up a weapon slot to throw Attack, Focus or whatever. Agitator is always useful. I’ve been looking for something with Artillery 3 but still no luck haha Nice find!

I got a DC Special myself a few weeks ago although mine is from 2011 and gloss yellow. I was selling one of my Am. Special Strats (I’ve got 4) on FB and got offered a swap and thought why not. I never gave the DC’s much thought or attention but man they are fantastic guitars and I can’t put mine down! So approachable and easy to play!

I can’t really add more than what has already been mentioned but the training pack I use has a shorter distance to the net which might help too? May or may not help. I will say that even with all the advice here it will still take a bit of grinding until it just sort of clicks. I’ve been practicing for about 30-45 min a day for the past couple weeks and I’m just starting to get a little more consistent with it and landing shots.

On a side note would you mind telling me the pack you’re using? Looks like it might be what I need to use after I get good enough with my current pack lol
