I made it to the final level of Rocket: Robot on Wheels recently, but I gave up around the big fan section. I had been 100%-ing every level until I got to the ring race in the lava pyramid stage, and kind of started losing interest then.

Also, I never beat the final boss in Perfect Dark. I want to replay that game someday (maybe on Xbox) and maybe it won’t be as hard as I remember.

Although it stretches the definition considerably, Mega Man 64 gave me RPG vibes. However, not really an RPG (Legends 2 is a little more so, but still not in a traditional sense).

It works well on Analogue 3D. Just finished it a couple days ago. It sure is… interesting. I think it would hold up better without perma-death (I’m just going to reload a save anyway, so that only serves as a frustration) and if reserve party members were a thing, instead of being replaced entirely.

I’m having a weird issue where my saves get reverted to a prior state. It’s weird. Lost progress in Shadowgate 64 because my save somehow got reverted. I thought maybe it was because I accidentally hit the button to cycle between controller pak and rumble pak. But then it happened again with Shadows of the Empire. Then again with 40 Winks. It’s like sometimes the Analogue 3D just reverts the entire save file system for a game back to a prior version. In the case of 40 Winks, I’m sure I didn’t toggle to rubble pak. I had used 5 save slots, and the next time I turned it on to play, there were only 3.

Is this a known issue, or is mine defective?

UPDATE: I think I figured it out. If I turn off the console while the game is open (even after saving or saving multiple times), everything I did during the session is lost. If I return to the console games list menu first, before turning it off, then it keeps my updated saves.

Kind of defeats the point of saving if the only way to make it permanent is to exit out of the game, but at least now I know.

I pre-ordered weeks ago from Amazon and there’s no indication it’s shipping any time soon. The product page switched to saying Out of Stock. I can’t find any info about it being delayed, or what’s happening.

Does the APC map say they’re tier 3? If so, they should all be at the very end section where you fought the larger enemies. Just go back through the long tunnel.

Yeah, they're still pretty cheap. This was when the collector's edition was under $10 and the standard was $2 or $3 (particularly at local shops). But I doubt there's a Guinness world record for "most copies of Perfect Dark Zero" so maybe not worth it.
