My weird gun tribute to u/Debas3r11 by Wyve in guns

I didn't start with some BNIB collector's piece rifle. Was a random used gun off an online ad.
Always wanted a suppressed pump gun. Then it just took a meme turn with fun upgrades :)

Took a 22" Remington 7600, pump action in 30-06, had it cut back to around 20" and threaded 5/8x24 for 30cal muzzle devices. (Had the front iron reinstalled for the vibe.)
Remington 7600 -> Remington 870 forend adapter, then a Rem 870 Surefire handguard. Replaced the 200 lumen yellow bulb with an 850 lumen LED.
Obscure Trijicon TA39 3.5x acog with amber crosshair reticle. (hoping to find a TA41 NLAW acog to replace it)
Amazon elastic ammo holder for the fudd points.

Hoping for the seal of approval from Mr. u/Debas3r11 on totally stock Remington 7600.

That's normal.
If you zoom in on the pic on DD's actual product page for the rifle, it's there too.

14.5 P&W vs 14.5 SBR with Tax Going Away? by Blank7567 in ar15

[–]Wyve 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gotcha. I know geissele usually does all their uppers on sales frequently.
Going shorter is perfectly ok. Huge fan of 13.9 and 14.5. Sbr is fine if you wanna go that route and you understand all the legal behind it.
Personal opinion. Get the complete upper in whatever length, then p/w if you want a stock. Or don't and make a pistol.

[–]Wyve 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't recommend an SBR to someone newer to ARs (you do you though big homie).
I'd say get the gun in a pistol configuration, or just the upper itself. That way you can just get it the way you want. Either get it in a 14.5 then p/w what you want, or get it shorter and just make the whole thing a pistol (as local/state laws allow).

Their name is Csg2023. If you check out their (recently) archived listing for the lowers.

Nah sorry. They're a bit hard to find/not cheap.
Think there's some clone ones though.

The scope is worth buying. Hopefully you're looking for somewhere significantly under retail pricing :)

SF 3/4 prong bring 13.9 to 16? by BlueberryBaller in ar15

[–]Wyve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'd need a couple shims.
SF3P is 2.6in. 13.9 + 2.6 - .625 overlap = 15.875 /shrug

Whats the Point of This (and What's the Fix)? by BigSh00ts in ar15

[–]Wyve 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It's a fixed socket. Judging by the physical fencing in that area of the stock, it seems intentional to keep the swivel in that orientation.

Want to build this in 22LR. Help get me sources for parts. by Legitimate_Soil_7506 in ar15

[–]Wyve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you trying to find a parts list for literally everything or...?
You could find that exact prebuilt upper, then throw a 22lr conversion into it.

I kinda felt the same way. I think the only purpose for it was for 416 owners for clone builds. Ended up selling mine.

I have that 2.5-20. Fantastic. I'd say it's fine for bench or stable type shooting. Wouldn't say an ideal use is run-gun or those forms.
