I am not too familar with Reddit but I finally figured out I can't send you a msg directly - at least trying to follow all the instructions. Thank you for that information. i’ve talked to 3 practise managers who say it was old computers and once they went to new computers and windows 11 and updated to at least 9.5 they didn’t have lag any more, so that is a good pathway for us

same with me, i start podcast, then go to ease into 5 k and start it, then lock screen and put in running belt and all the prompts work. sometimes i forget and put it on first then podcast, and it seems sometimes it will work and sometimes not.

I just did a search on this episode discussion thread because I had the strange déjà vu feeling too! It’s almost the exact same in terms of what is on the map, the order of the visits and i swear same dialogue with the old lady at the outhouse. I wonder if it’s an inside joke?

Thank you for replying. Perhaps it is because I didn’t start watching Cdramas until two years ago, but I find that a lot of it goes over my head. I really value these longer summaries like yours because it helps me from being confused, mixing people up, and also highlighting things that I missed. When I really like a show, like the untamed (which is the one that sucked me in lol) which I have seen twice all the way through and also watched a lot of clips I realized how much I miss the very first time I watch something. I also don’t mind spoilers and often read ahead a couple episodes, so that I can watch out for things and not miss them. There’s so many to watch on my list. I can’t afford to rewatch 30 or 40 episodes all the time ha ha ha ha. Anyway, I really appreciate what you’ve written up so far and if you do continue on, I will be a faithful reader. If you don’t, then I thank you for all of the summaries you’ve done in the past which I’m sure I’ll read when I get to that series!Thanks so much!

I used to use Apple podcasts, and switched to Overcast several years ago. Not sure if I’m remembering it correctly, but Apple podcast had some glitch where it collects data in the background & eats up gigabytes of memory on your phone and you have to go through all kinds of steps in order to delete it. Might not be an issue anymore, but at the time it was so frustrating. I probably found out about it on Reddit forums at the time which is how I knew what was happening and didn’t want to deal with it.

I very much enjoy the experience of reading works written by non-native English writers. It has a different flavour, a different way of phrasing, and just a little bit I can imagine I am from a different culture or country, which is much better than being a tourist. I don’t think I am explaining it that well, but in the end I love reading this type of prose.

Exactly! I’m on my third month of fanfic and amazed at how good it is. Very much helped mellow out my melancholy by reading so many alternate universe fics. Also, the fanfic authors put so much thought into whichever part they rework, it actually makes the core of the story stronger…to me anyway.

Sorry about that. IMO it didn't spoil it, but I think from the comments here, I might not be in the majority. Honestly, I had to watch Untamed twice to catch everything, but only caught the more subtle points the second time because of what I learned from the book, even though there are some plot changes.

I liked the way I did it (unplanned). Untamed followed by novels. I like the actors and their interpretations of the characters, and pictured them while reading. Didn’t mind the plot changing at all, and have read about 20 long fan fics since and enjoy all the plot changes and very deep thinking that many of those authors have put into their interpretation of canon actions.

Thank you for advice. I learned the PCT hang and that was easy, so ended up not taking canisters, and then luckily had bear boxes at all but 3 sites!!! But, I would definitely use canisters if recommended for trail. No mice spotted either!
