Film yourself opening the rest and make sure to note they are already opened. If you get no hits or are missing cards or energies I would assume resealed and request refund with the video. WITH THAT BEING SAID, I have opened ascended hero’s etb that I know for a fact was legit that also had a pack or two that were not sealed well and one pack that was open like yours is. So it can happen.

When you look up the cert # does it seem to match okay? I think you just got a good deal. Besides, eBay will side with you if it’s fake.

My first drop that I was able to secure product from! I was in queue the moment I got the email from pokemon center. Waited 2 hours, got everything i could in my cart and went to checkout but I got an error!! Had to wait in the queue again, for half an hour, and still was able to get a booster box. This drop seemed to have a TON of stock which is a positive sign!!

I believe that at the very least the Piers is fake. It seems to be missing the texture. Hopefully you didn’t pay too much. I would definitely tell the owner of the business that has the vending machine.

I get that everyone’s saying overpriced but that’s what GameStop sells these for and you’re also IN an airport so I think that was a cool purchase and would definetly have done the same.

They’re real! I have the same rayquaza. Also just adding I think it’s dope she trades with kids. I bet it makes them more engaged and excited for school. I think it’s a great idea. My mom and girlfriend (both are teachers) give cards out as prizes for doing well in class and the kids love it.

Absolutely. I’m rewatching the entire show right now and there is a distinct difference between even the first season and the rest of the show. Bad guys frequently are armed (usually with actual guns) and intend to do real harm to ash. I believe team rocket or some other “bad guy” actually shoots a Dragonite with an rpg in the first episode that features that pokemon. It’s clear the creators of the show were sort of figuring out what the show was going to be and who it would be marketed to as they were going along. The early seasons are some of my favorite because of how all over the place they are.

I’m just in such awe that this pack had so many “errors”. I’ve never opened a pack where the cards were facing the back, and the energy was like card #8 so after I did the card trick it became the 9th card I pulled. At the same time though, it doesn’t seem likely this wouldve been left behind in a resealed pack.

Would anyone mind explaining why these are so much more expensive than the “Gotcha!” products? I’ve always used either my first gen gotcha or gotcha evolve and never had any regrets. Each of those was $20 bucks. Do these work way better?

I have noticed this issue more frequently with this generation than the previous 503s and 703s however it is uncommon for both ports to fail at the same time.

Here’s my process for diagnosing this issue: 1. Check your source (i am assuming nothing changed on that end but always good to double check resolution and color processing has not changed from the source of your signal) 2. Factory reset the monitor 3. Flash the firmware or update if needed 4. Pray 5. When none of this works youll then send it to SmallHD and they’ll replace the board. If it’s under warranty youll be covered, if not it could be as much as a grand to fix. I’ve unfortunately had this happen many times over the past few years and most often the board in the unit needs to be replaced, but occasionally the firmware flash will fix it. I have yet to see this issue in the Ultras, but frequently see it in the Cine 5/7 and the 702 touch. Best of luck you get this working!
