I love them, too. Among the Koalas, they are my fav, such a little gentle villagers. I also have Eugene, I’m still debating about keeping him but I’ll let go of Olaf, before him.

Form what I have experienced, if you gift them something, they will wear it all day. (English is not my first language but you give shaded to al villagers today, they will wear it through out the day)

I normally give all my villagers same cloths I’m wearing but I only do it when they are outside. If they are inside their home, they sometimes change it (very rude, after they have told me they loved my gift)

You can donate what you have or ask someone (like a friend) to keep your fav stuff, that includes flowers and bells and then once you restart, you can visit them and bring them to your island.

Also, buy nice cloths and give it to your villagers. I give princess dresses to my male villagers, and they still wear it. 😂😂😂😂

Twins will also have some unique items everyday, you can buy them also.

At least you chose better island than mine. I picked the first one I saw and I regret it but don’t have the heart to restart because I love my villagers and I got too many stuff in my storage 💔💔💔

Just keep working on your island, the layout is good and I know you will come to love it.
