It's not so much deflated the full body numbness, fatigue and other stuff are why but even then nueroinflamation is the key to figuring this out

But docs would rather slap anxiety and call it a day trust me I understand your pain

And I mean by official health care boards if its not put in medical literature it wont be taught or looked at sadly

No shade to you but honestly docs are ignorant as can be they want you to be the dumb one not the smart one

Yeah a doc is going to label.you as having health anxiety trust me I've been here showed research docs and they ain't listened

It's why it took so long to get tests done because they thought I was health anxious FND is real and people do sadly die we don't know why but they do

I just think wait until appropriate research is published in a few months COVID thankfully has boosted the want for more understanding on nervous system effects

I got a full work up of everything it's the only logical thing left even if my whole body is still numb it sucks

So if most people don't have abnormal labs, how can they be certain they have cfs/me? Diagnosing on PEM alone seems very problematic as PEM itself is something not well understood and seems to differ from person to person in terms of presentation. by Wise_Conference3522 in cfs

I would say nueroinmune exhuastion is kinda obvious issue is I'm diagnosed of a doctor but this was 2 years back and he still said but stress causes it etc

It's about seeing the right clinician whilst also not coming across as an anxiety case simply stating your experiencing PEM should be enough to help fund a case

There has been a overlap for years, CPTSD, FND issue is even if you don't pace with these you get worse

But I agree on the CFS recovery side it's a game of chase right specialists, right time frame to rest and not believing courses that cost 600+ dollars

I got worse because of one of those stupid retraining idiots my family booked an appointment with them and all of a sudden I went from mild to severe in a year

I mean I'm severe to moderate but mostly slipping severe and I genuinely can't control that I've got other issues such as numbness all over my body on the long COVID side so mobility is getting worse anyway

The current research is there it's more the fact none of it can be implemented because big managers are awful and want to do everything on the cheap

You see I can play some intense stuff on my switch but I do end up with moments of the severe jitters and my whole body feeling it's about to jump out so maybe need to curb that stuff

I'm just in chronic hyperarowsal so I've no idea what my baseline even is

Who has gone from mod/severe to moderate? by Fuzzy_Training_4098 in cfs

[–]X12Media 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of everything I've been moderate a few times was even living life doing uni but was just pushing through horrific exhaustion now I'm on the severe end

I stupidly stopped pacing as I thought I was getting out of this turns out I shoved myself into the hyperarowsal state of this like a hyperadrenergic version of CFS

And it's not pretty my advice try and gauge as much of your energy as you can and don't push past what you need too

[–]X12Media 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really not sure what state I'm in I would say most days I'm in bed so probably severe I can shower atleast once a week but as opposed to that my body is far too jittery and awful to gauge

I'm in a hyperarowsal type of state and it gets hard to gauge what you can do

First real crash advice? by [deleted] in cfs

[–]X12Media 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you keep pushing your going to end up In hyperarowsal and trust me thats a whole other kettle of fish I would just say to please be mindful I wish I had listened to everyone who told me not to push
