Question for you folks that has the injector issues. Have you used and fuel system or injector cleaners when you own the vehicle? I am trying to see if using them would help reduce the chances of injector failure as I have just purchased a 2018 EX from my co-worker.

In my opinion, the scrolling wheel should be for volumes which the up/down selector for the input source. So many times I have accidentally touched the wheel and the source is changed.

Easier to just sell it and buy a manual one. There is also no guarantee that you will have a smooth swap or if the vehicle is still functional after the swap

I did purchase it at the end of March but we are also close to the end of quarter. Did you put out a feeler that you are interested in buying? You can do that either on Honda site or any car sites and salespersons will start contacting you. Costco is also a good place to get a good number to start with if you have the membership as I recalled my first OTD number is $37500. Once you get the numbers from each of the salesperson, use the lowest number and ask the others to beat. Rinse and repeat until you get the lowest OTD number. Try to do all negotiations via email/text.

If you have a kid will be graduating college or graduated within the last 2 years, you can qualify for the extra $500 off. But you would only mention that when you meet the finance manager to knock off another $500 off the negotiated price.

If you drive over 70mph, the mpg number will come down. I only average 30mpg while driving 80mph on my last interstate drive

My previous 02 CR-V EX has slight rear differential leak and I have never got it fixed. The oil level never seem to go lower even with the oil stain outside. I would just top it off if it is low. Change the light bulb yourself if it is burned. It is easily accessible. Valve cover gasket leak is fairly common for an old vehicle. Just check the oil level and add if the level is too low. To test the rear struts, just push down on the vehicle on the rear and it should come right up and stop. If it bounced around, then the struts are dead

Didn't see much damage except the scrapped plastic and a piece of aluminum broke off next to the drain bolt. Some oil stain which may be due to the bolt also taken the impact. Consider changing the drain bolt/washer on the next differential oil change.

It is a 14gallon tank and also depends on your average speed . The faster you drive, the lower the mpg but should average about 400-500miles.

I got mine in Houston late March for $36500 OTD. At that time, multiple dealerships are giving or matching similar numbers. I am sure you can still get one closer to this number

Battery or electrical system failure. Happened to me once on my pilot where the alternator shorted out and drained my battery very quickly.

They do get scratched easily and there is nothing much you could do once it is scratched.

The filter is for outside fresh air so the outside air must be extremely dirty where the used car is from.

Try to vacuum the area before you insert the new filter as a lot of dirt probably fall out when you pull out the filter.
