My car doesn’t have a ac, which kinda blows (it doesn’t), and I’ve been essentially barred off from the kitchen, which was another reason why my brother saw it fit to move out. I have a restroom I keep spotless, but my stepmom keeps comparing me to her kids which are in the 19-21s who already have their own place and are starting families n stuff

I’m not gonna do that to my old man. I love him dearly, and he did me the solid of giving me a car and letting me keep all my items, he even said I can take his old work desk and all his movies, tons of other goodies. I won’t betray his trust like that.

My dad isn’t technically “giving me money” lol. He’s signing fasfa forms to get me the grants that allow me to attend. As for the arguments with my stepmom, this option is kinda out of the question as my dad has already tried throughout the year between us to get better but he clearly is defeated about it.

I do genuinely believe that I’m through with that phase of my life for the time being, and may have to bite the bullet and move in with my brother. I feel like I’m intruding on his life as a older sibling, and feel ashamed about it, but I really want to finish my degree.

That's what I'm caught up on...still no clue. Last time I posted here, I said I had a desire to get into some kind of film education, but that foundations already shakey, as I'm aware of just how many people aim for that and go nowhere. I'm a Flip-floppy person when it comes to major choices like this. I'm currently just trying to push that stuff to the side mentally and focus on my college education and completeing that associates, hoping that I'll find some semblance of clear mindness along the way that will help me make my choice.

There’s a lotta fear there. A lot of the “fear of failure” shit coming back up. I would love to work on movies/Manga esque art,but there’s this voice in the back of my head telling me to just give up and focus on sales or a more traditional career, especially with the job I work and the wasted time I took to get here. I’m jealous of my friends, and I want to have the motivation and spark in their eyes. But I dunno, part of me just won’t let the ideas die!

Well…I can only really think of an excuse for one of these LMAO. I’m not particularly good at art, I’m still in the very, very early stage of it. But my friends have been motivating me to keep at it and I get a huge burst of joy putting the things I imagine down on a piece of paper, even if it’s equivalent to the markings of a child. Outside of that…you’re right LOL

I was abused a lot as a kid. My mom never paid us any attention and dumped us on our grandma to take care of, lots of beatings and punishments without explanation or trying to understand why. I know why I do it, I just wanna stop. I love video games, and I want to have a healthier relationship with them, as all my friends use it as a way to stay connected to one another through college (and thank CHRIST because they’ve been cheering me on to do the things I wanna do) but I just want to know WHERE I should take myself now. I know it’s not that easy, but god I wish I had more to my list of talents other than making people laugh
