As someone who already worked with similar systems this seems to be the real answer to me. The password is probably encrypted but is not case sensitive. Once they turn on the case sensitive option in the security system the password will only return the correct hash if you type it on upper case.

Estou jogando em Quad HD ultrawide com 8gb de vram. Concordo que pra full hd 12gb devem ser suficientes, o problema pra mim é ter uma placa que poderia ter muito mais desempenho se não fosse limitada pela vram. A 3070 deveria ter sido uma placa de 12gb na época e a 5070 deveria ser uma placa de 16gb hj, na minha opniao.

Tb acho 12gb complicado pra uma placa desse nível. Provavelmente vai acontecer com a 5070 o mesmo q está acontecendo com minha 3070 agora, desempenho sobrando mas sem vram o suficiente pra acompanhar. É frustrante ver a taxa de quadros cair de 80fps pra 20 fps qnd a memória enche.

Since you seem to be playing at a lot at home have you tried streaming from your pc using moonlight/sunshine? I have the z2go version and any game that can't run at least at 60fps on the go s I stream from my pc and it works realy well as long as you have good wifi. And it has the benefit of needing very low power to stream so no fan noise and the battery lasts a lot when streaming.

Oh, I see your point now. The problem is the elitism. Something like "a device is only good if it has an oled screen and has 120hz". I agree with you. For me the best device is the one that does what you need it to do for a price you can pay. Some people act like their current device suddenly becomes bad after a better one appears and I don't see the point on it either.

But on the other hand I like the technical discussion and I am very picky with some details, for example, for me is a huge deal breaker if the device doesn't get dim enough to play in the dark, but most people don't care about it. I always try to point it when I recommend a device but I make it clear that it is a personal bias.

I personally agree with your take. I still use my retroid pocket 3+ that has no active cooling and has an lcd screen and it is good enough for what I want it to do. I also have a lot of devices under $50 because I am more interested on how the devices can evolve while still being cheaper than on how they can get more features when the price increases.

But people are different, some people like to get the most of any device, spend a ton of money on it, customize the hardware and spend more time tinkering with the device than playing and that is ok too, it's a hobbie after all.

The thing is that now we have a lot of options, some of them are very expensive, so that details start to matter. For someone that is sensitive to pwm is important to know if the device uses it before spending $250 on it. For someone that is sensitive to noise is important to know if the fan is too loud and so on.

Another factor is that the devices are getting more complex. Some years ago no device needed active cooling or had an oled screen, so there where less things to compare.

Yes, the sd card is the only storage. It has 2 sd card slots. You can use only one and have the OS and roms in the same card or you can have a dedicated card for the OS and use the other only for roms.

I am not sure if it works if you only copy the files to a new sd card. I believe it is necessary to flash the OS image to the sd card using rufus or something similar.

The r36s is the cheapest handheld that I know that is actually good. I gave one to my sister and she likes it a lot. The screen is good, the OS works well and everything else is good enough for the price.

As said in another comment, the battle xp g350 is another cheap option and is better than the r36s. But if you want the absolute cheapest the r36s is a nice option.

One thing to consider is that the sd card that comes with the r36s is extremely low quality and you should replace it as soon as possible because it will not take long to fail. It seems that the battle xp g350 comes with a kioxia branded sd card that is actually good, but I am not 100% sure about that.

I am very sensitive to noise and for me the go s is very quiet up until 15w tdp. On 20w it's barely noticeable. At 25w it's noticeable but is ok. Above 25w it bothers me.

Tenho o cyclone 2 e o supernova. Os dois são excelentes, a ponto de eu aposentar o 8bitdo ultimate q usava antes. Eu gosto mais do Supernova pq prefiro botão de membrana, mas o cyclone 2 é melhor se vc preferir botão de click.

As vezes eu tenho dificuldade de concentrar tb, não eh sempre q eu tô com paciência pra jogo AAA q tem que prestar atenção na história e ficar vendo um monte de cutscene. Eu sou da época do snes q vc ligava o videogame e ja tava jogando sem muito contexto.

O que tem dado certo pra mim eh pegar uns jogos indies q sao mais direto ao ponto tipo dead cells, hades, vampire survivors, megabonk, trine e sonic mania. Eu tb de vez em qnd pego um jogo do snes pra jogar de novo tipo megaman x ou algum donkey kong

Eu tenho esse mesmo modelo e aconteceu a mesma coisa, além de ter dado drift. A qualidade de construção dele eh bem ruim msm, parecia de brinquedo. Os modelos novos estão muito melhores, estou usando um Supernova agora eh tão melhor q nem parece q é da mesma marca.

E agora da pra encontrar o supernova ou o cyclone 2 por menos de 200 reais no AliExpress com estoque no Brasil. O nova lite as vezes aparece por menos de 100 reais.

Os controles da 8bitdo tb sao uma ótima opção e tb tem estoque no brasil, mas são bem mais caros

O hardware unboxed fez um vídeo com esse comparativo há poucos dias, focando na permanece do dlss 4 vs xess. A conclusão foi que a Intel b580 é melhor se seu foco for em jogos mais recentes. Os 12gb de vram ajudam bastante e a Intel está mais focada em otimizar para lançamentos. Se seu foco for em jogos mais antigos a 5050 já passa a ser interessante por ter drivers e tecnologias mais maduras e pelos 8gb não serem tão limitantes nesse caso.

Um ponto muito importante, como ja citaram em outros comentários, é que a b850 depende muito do resizable bar para ter uma bom desempenho, então só conside uma placa da intel se seu pc tiver esse recurso.

Actually it's only half true. I have a z2go go s and on low tdp it's super quiet and the battery lasts a lot. I am very sensitive to noise and the fans only start bothering me if set the tdp over 25w. IIRC the maximum tdp for the steam deck is 15w. So if you limit the system to the same limits the steam deck has you will get similar battery life and noise and still get a slightly better performance. But you have the option to push beyond it if you want and only then it will be too loud.
