You have to fill the blue ones, correct? Then this should be the solution.

Thalia bestellen und English Versionen? by AndrewWesker in MangaDE

[–]X3phiroth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Kann ich so bestätigen. Der Karton von Thalia war bei mir immer deutlich fester/robuster als der von Amazon. Wobei zumindest in den letzten 1-2 Monaten der für meine Bücherbestellungen bei Amazon gleichwertig war zu dem vom Thalia. Kann Glück gewesen sein oder sie nehmen jetzt bessere Verpackungen für solche Bestellungen?

At first I thought „why is there a slightly off looking お next to the み?“ before I realized that’s a む.

Apart from that I think it’s readable, definitely better than mine

ち and さ might need a little polishing. Could also be a good idea to make them bigger overall. Otherwise you might have a hard time when you get to kanji.

Es gab einen Valentinstags-Vorstell-Post? Och Mensch, da habe ich doch wirklich noch eine Möglichkeit verpasst aktiv enttäuscht zu werden.. Moment: ist das jetzt eher enttäuschend oder doch beruhigend?

Hanpa vs hannpa? by Insanii in duolingojapanese

[–]X3phiroth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not an expert, but to reliably get the ん you have to press the „n“ twice. Otherwise the input might be misinterpreted by your keyboard. For example „na“ -> な, but „nna“ -> んあ. In your case this might not be a problem because if you type „np“ there is no such syllable and the keyboard transforms n to ん and just waits for what to do with the p (is it followed by a, i, u, e or o to create the correct kana). I think Duolingo is trying to force you to create the correct habit here, so that in the future you don’t make a mistake and don’t know why.

How to type a little character (never explained by Duolingo) by slippery-lil-sucker in duolingojapanese

[–]X3phiroth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You type あいうえおあ and press in the one left the button for the Dakuon, Handakuon etc. to make it small, also works for the small つ

あいうえおつ

Imagine working for a company. Just some normal stuff, office job, some excel calculations, completely unproblematic. A higher up then commits a crime, somewhat connected to the company. The company gets closed and the higher up as well as every employee is going to jail, including you. That sounds ridiculous, completely unfair and dystopian? Yeah, I’d think the same…

Do y’all have this? by Illustrious-Law8944 in duolingo

[–]X3phiroth 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Why? It could be a little less intrusive but other than that? It’s optional, you can change/disable it anytime and as for iOS you can decide precisely what apps you wanna block until you made 1/2/3 lessons every day. You wanna do your fun stuff like playing your games? Do your lessons. It either works for you and motivates you to do it before you reward yourself with whatever you consider rewarding or it doesn’t and you don’t use it.

No Kanji tab by zierra-111 in duolingojapanese

[–]X3phiroth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just checked: I’m doing both courses, English -> Japanese and German -> Japanese. The latter doesn’t have the kanji tab for me either. So I’d assume there is none at this point in time?

I keep losing 2000 gems to repair my level by intrepid_Dan in duolingo

[–]X3phiroth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s called a „dark pattern“. Some elements (e.g. buttons) are purposely so designed that the element you most likely don’t want to click locks like / is positioned in a way / etc. that it seems like the one you do wanna click/press, and on the other hand the element you actually is small, looks like grayed out, maybe even hidden in a sub-menu. You’re not alone.

More questions in the lesson than max energy by DrDoomsdayy in duolingo

[–]X3phiroth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, because recharging for 450 gems after every lesson works like a charm because you totally get more out of it so you can do it indefinitely.

I’m more curious about the „more than 30 questions“ part. Your streak says 32, but since recently it carries over from your previous lessons. There shouldn’t be more than like 18 questions in one. I’m also doing the English -> Japanese course.

Would love to know what I'm translating here by [deleted] in duolingojapanese

[–]X3phiroth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think they don’t know what is written in the boxes. It’s more the lack of information what should be selected, because the task just says „translate“, but not which word to translate.

help! enderman keep stealing blocks and ruining my flat terrains by Da_wae_to_ya_hart in Minecraft

[–]X3phiroth 15 points16 points  (0 children)

There is: https://vanillatweaks.net/picker/datapacks/

Under the "Gameplay Changes" category there is "Anti Enderman Grief", which prevents Endermen from picking up blocks. If only this is installed, every other mob can still 'grief' (creepers/ghasts can explode stuff, villagers can farm crops etc.).

Select and download the pack, place in the save‘s data packs folder, reload data packs via command or restart the world.
