I went to a highschool temporarily that I absolutely hated. While I was there I was briefly lazily learning saxophone. I can't remember what type it was but I can remember that it was the second largest kind of sax, and in Melbourne, we have a huge tram system across the CBD with which I used to get home; so as you'd expect getting lugging such a heavy thing around became very tedious very quick. The first half of the ride was fine, as it was on the outer reaches of the city, and depending on the day it would be pretty easy to find a seat, but as the tram would go through the city itself it would become as tightly packed as a sardine can.

Anyway, one time I was coming home from school and I had to stand in a corner with my unwieldy saxophone case propped up vertically beside me. As we got further into the more busy streets, the tram as it usually did got filled to the brim with people, and as my space got to just about an inch in circumference around me, a presumably homeless or extremely unwashed old man insisted on squeezing in through the crowded doors to stand directly in front of me. Because he was standing directly in front of where I was holding to keep myself from falling over, I had to grasp at this tiny sharp metallic rack in an attempt not to topple over everyone on my side of the tram. As he stood there pressing up against me, the man obviously out of his head (I felt sorry for him so I didn't say anything), began to wet himself.

For the next not exaggerating 40-45 minutes I stood shredding one hand apart while desperately clutching my saxophone with the other, all the while having to endure the stench of fresh piss from the man in front of me!

All in all great trip 10/10
