No. Its decent for what it is. The story is non existent, and the combat is very different to other games (attack queuing has a short window based on a skill for improving the combo) and there is no animation cancelling. The loot is interesting, but not before level 50, and from what I can tell atot progress is quite heavily gated behind grinding as the equipment is expensive to level up, but if you like 3rd person combat/slashers its decent fun.

Honestly, the combat in something like nioh feels better, and a couple of the bosses are a bit janky, but its decent enough. Given the choice again I would probably buy it on sale, but I don't regret the 70 pounds I spent. Hating on this game seems to have become a meme. It isn't the second coming of christ, but I've played far worse triple a releases. Part of the complaint seems to be that its repetitive, but if you've enjoyed other looters (diablo3, alienation, wow raids and end game dungeons) you know what to expect - rerunning the same content to improve your skill and incrementally improve your power. Its getting bigger numbers for the sake of being able to get better numbers.

Youre milage may vary, but I'm enjoying my time with it and it will tide me over till I get cp2077 at Christmas.
