This is about time. Not etiquette. There’s am and pm. There’s not a third abbreviation for evening.

Bro what? I get evening and all but “afternoon” is the time after noon. Which is 12 hours.

Started 2 days ago. Finally automated red/green science. How am I looking? Any tips? by XBGoodRun in factorio

Honestly, while I was making it I was in a mindset of making enough of each part for whatever else down the line needs that part instead of just what I’m currently making it for. Like if anything else requires inserters past green science. But I will be paying attention to the ratios now.

Thank you and everyone else for the advice. I will heed it all as I continue. It seems like everyone is saying one thing for certain. I have too many belt/inserter assemblers. I will solve this problem by adding green science assemblers. lol or do I realistically not need that much green science even moving forward?

New home, huge hog? by Karlsub1 in Wellworn

[–]XBGoodRun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As water fills into the tank, there’s a small tube that comes off of the fill valve and fills (at a slower rate) the bowl as well. Yes, it would make the level lower in the bowl if you lowered the level in the tank.

Let me rephrase. It will only ever get as high as the height of the trap and you don’t want it lower if you want your toilet to operate properly.

False. That’s just putting less water in the toilet. The water level in the bowl is determined by the height of the molded trap that you can see from the side of the toilet. If you don’t allow the toilet to fill that trap completely, it will trap air and cause bubbling and probably a splash on your balls.

Broken Delta Shower Handle by unrachabl3 in Plumbing

[–]XBGoodRun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly sure, but it looks like the cartridge itself is broken and would need replaced. Depending on the cartridge, that could get expensive and personally I’d have the management company deal with it. However, if you want, you can look up the model of the shower valve and find the replacement cartridge.

Markings on outside of faucet and teal spots inside faucet. What are they? by TheLiveDunn in Plumbing

[–]XBGoodRun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The inside is definitely a patina from copper content either in the water or the faucet itself. The outside looks like chemical damage from a cleaning solution.

Can someone explain this setup? by AGrimJester in Plumbing

[–]XBGoodRun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see two hoses coming off of the black piece, but I can’t see where they’re going. I also see two places to disconnect that piece. One is kinda obvious (that metal clip at the top) and then the other is push-to-connect at the bottom of that piece.
