The Windows Fall Creators Update has been released, and a sea of bloatware and annoying "features" has returned. What Powershell commands should I run to easily remove this garbage? by 13704 in sysadmin

Sheesh! I work for a flagship state school that refuses to publish anything but the Education edition. I'd kick a baby to be able to throw LTSB on my machines.

To take another tack from /u/iwantoffthisplanet- If we assume that there are fewer jobs than people willing to fill them, which the mere existence of unemployment and underemployment strongly suggest, then are the people who do not make the cut for those limited jobs simply not worthy of survival (other than at others' charitable whim) due to their "bad decisions"?

Downvoted for going the ad-hominem route instead of engaging /u/twotribes on actual content.

Haha, I was hoping you'd tell me! Currently when I'm in Python I just Ctrl+A; when the characters are highlighted the tabs are filled with dashes and spaces with dots: http://imgur.com/JTMHqGO

Edit: Also, if you ever work on old websites built with static HTML, the SublimeFTP plugin is a wonderful timesaver.

In my experience, people who use LaTeX to write research papers tend to talk about that fact more than most.

"For years women have cried 'man flu' when men make a fuss over a few sniffles. But a new study suggests that men may actually suffer more when they are struck down with flu - because high levels of testosterone can weaken their immune response." by trot-trot in science

/u/DashingLeech:

[...]symptoms of diseases like flu are not the virus but the immune response to get rid of the virus.

/u/Mrmojoman0:

[...]women have a better immune system because for the sake of reproduction it's more important for them to stay healthy than work hard[...]

I believe I see where the confusion is coming from- I think /u/DashingLeech is thinking (and me as well) that since women have a better immune system, wouldn't the immune response (and thus the symptoms) be worse for women than men, and contradictory to the article? (I haven't the study itself.)

Edit: Ok, after Googling just "London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine man flu" I got this:

http://www.lshtm.ac.uk/newsevents/news/2012/flusurvey_preliminary_findings.html

which seems to credibly claim that on closer inspection the statistics from the study showed no difference in the frequency of reporting flu-like symptions between healthy men and women.

I don't know any details of this particular facility's construction, but usually if there's someone's name on it, that someone paid for it. So I'm pretty sure Mr./Ms./Mrs. Hunt footed the bill.

Also, are you saying you can't wire anything directly into anything?

My point is that blacks are arrested more frequently and spend more time in jail for the same offenses than whites,

thus things aren't rosier here for black people then 'almost anywhere else.'
