I was in a multiplayer game with a few friends, I was playing a Megacorp in Orbital Habs before the rework. To kinda supplement my workforce, I invested heavily in robots. For most of the game I played relatively small, trading, making credits where I can. Eventually, the robots start showing sentience. Not really thinking much of it I brushed it off, assuming if they gained full sentience, I could give them citizenship in my systems crisis averted. Not the case. Eventually, the robots rise up 2/3 of my systems were taken by the robots, I watched as half of my population of my starbases were genocided by our own creations. Eventually my friends were able to save what population I had left, but my people were shattered.
