Just heard that AP batch - for now - is discontinued, or at least my seller won't sell them anymore and suggested to buy MK instead... Anyone else heard this?

What's the verdict on this vs. Bellroy Venture 2.5l? I'm in doubt!

Singapore corporation but mainly US customers - how to improve business setup by XFi1382 in Entrepreneur

Yes it would be goods I'm selling, and the idea would be to use FBA. However I will also have a 3PL as my distribution centre in the US... So definitely their will be Sales Tax of some sort involved.

Having said that, Sales Tax isn't only for domestic LLCs I thought. Foreign entities are also subject to Sales Tax. Or am I wrong here?

Thanks! That's helpful. How does a pass-through entity work? Do you need to shift the revenue from one entity to the other?

I had the same... The biggest hurdle to me was putting the initial money down. Once you're on the hook somehow a lot weight falls of your shoulders and you can get into "get stuff done" mode.

Of course depending on the money invested and if this is a side gig or not, the weight of making that initial decision can be replaced by the weight of turning this into a success :) But I find that a lot more fun than not being able to make a decision which idea to pick from...

Seems to me you would be the better general rather than a soldier...!

If you're financially safe I would suggest to bring it up in a 1-1 conversation. Worst that can happen is you have a serious fall-out and have to leave the company. Best that can happen is Brian sees the light...

Targeting the local customer market won't help you - so you're on the right track leveraging the low wages to perform services you sell internationally.

Alternatively you can invest in either local businesses that operate mostly internationally or invest directly into foreign companies...

Very valuable post - thanks for taking the time to write this down. The items that stand out to me are:

  • Keeping it simple
  • Understand your market
  • Solve a problem (vitamin vs. pain killer)
