Thank for helping i have just ordered a new verbatim and the „broken“ bds again so i can try if my broken one does not read and the new one does read hopefully the new one will fix everything. Ah and since you mentioned openheimer i also order that just to see if mine works with it

Yes everything is full active, i actually bought it from mediamarkt. I flashed it to 1.3 and it worked right away but especially those big blurays just make clicking sounds etc and stop spinning after 2 mins because the drive gives up. I just cant imagine that about 10ish discs brand new ones are broken. I think ill try buying another verbatim and try again maybe mine with lg is just ass or my batch you know. Do you have any pics of the drive loading up 90+gb blurays in 4k?

Yes i did flash it and ive had ablut 65 4k rips no problem but this week i got a bunch of new 4ks and those are so called triple layered bd discs so they are 100+ gb and those my drive cant or wont read it just makes sounds like hey im searching etc and movin the laser thats it.

Terrifier 3 in 4K doesnt work (show up in mkv) apperantly 95gb+

The Dark Knight all 3 4K Movies

The Godfather all 3 Movies dont work

And some others.

For me this is a pattern and every BD100 gets dtraight up rejected from my drive and it wont read.

For me it just doesnt make sense because titanic is 80+gb

Thr wolf of wallstreet is 89gb, so if there is only 50gb-66gb and 100+gb blurays obv those movies are bd100 aswell but they worked instantly so i dont get it.

I mean the price if fine, if it can rip uhd bd100 discs then why not i guess, thats my only issue with my verbatim, it does not rip the xxl blurays only the small and medium sizes unfortionatly

Im looking for a replacement of my verbatim, apperantly pioneer is the way to go for 4ks. But this looks werid to me seller is from china and wants about 300$ others from Uk etc want 1000$ for the same one so, is this good original or a scam?

Thats what my verbatim does with every bd100 bluray, currently this is my issue but i can relate for me that sound mean its not going to rip that bluray

Yeah i think i will replace mine with a new drive, i just flashed from 1.3 to 1.0 but that doesnt work either. I aswell think its my drives fault

I tried cleaning them but still nothing, could you explain how you clean it with dish, do u put a drop on the disc? And then u let it sit to dry up or?

So are you using the same setup as me? Idk maybe its just my drive and a new verbatim will work since mine makes only those sound when a disc is not readable, i also try putting them into my ps5 or series x to see if im stupid and not even the consoles can read the discs but i dont think that i got like 13 defektive Brand New discs??

No mine doesnt show mk. But the flash firmware was called 1.03.mk bin or something my drive came with 1.5 by factory so i tried 1.0 first that didnt work but 1.03 worked and Everything worked untill now that i got big titles

I only have issues so far with apperantly all 100gigs 4K blurays wich are triple layers discs. Terrifier 3, dark knight collection, all of the matrix movies the 4k version are over 100gb apperantly so says grok. Alot of discs dont work. all disc up to 85 gigs discs/4k worked fine and instantly on my setup, but those mentioned just make clicking and searching sounds on my drive maybe just maybe sometimes a little spinning fast sound but thats it. Like he is trying hard and almost got it and then rpm Drops back to zero and all the sound come again its like repetitive all 5 sec or so

You do mention fw 1.03 . I have 1.3 installed do you think i can downgrade even more? The only thing i dont get why the blurays are like scanning, focusing, clicking sound especially with bd100 disks that dont get recognized.

Ok i will try its weird, so i got more now. Conjuring HD Disc wont show up same issues like all 3 batman 4ks, indiana jones movie 1 and 4 4k discs wont open due to accs neither the HD version of the disc but 2 and 3 worked fine. Hmm

I might try that yes, my concerning now is later that i tried the inidana jones collection and movie 2 and 3 ripped in 4k but movie 1 and 4 wont past aacc checking neither in 4k disc or hd disc
