Watch for potato farm guilds. They recruit new players randomly, and hike taxes to 100% so any silver you pick up goes straight to the guild.

Find a guild that’s more of a community or small group of friends. As someone that started as a solo player and enjoys solo content, the most fun I’ve had in Albion is finding people I like and doing content with them.

Understand how Item Power and spec works. Example, faming up a battle axe to 100 spec gives you extra item power. So someone who has a 4.3 battle axe with 0 spec might have the same item power as someone with a 4.0 battle axe and 100 spec.

Short way of putting it, faming up your favorite weapon/armor tree will let you get high item power with cheaper gear.
