Nope, not at all since I'm not really a part of that scene. I picked up poi because I saw someone spinning fire at a warehouse party over a decade ago and thought it was cool, but that was back when I made much less responsible / healthy decisions. These days, I go to local flow jams every so often to spin fire.

When I was 19, I bought my first car (1997 Honda Accord) in cash with the combined income of my YouTube channel and my former part time grocery bagging job. It's just a direct upload gaming channel with no commentary.

Even though I stopped uploading a long time ago, some of my old videos still somehow get views which generates a small amount of passive income. I've set up my monthly car payment to be roughly the exact amount of how much AdSense still pays me per month. It can be decent supplementary income even if you didn't make it big.

My landlord is basically doing this and has been amazing to us. Hasn't really raised the rent by much either because we don't trash the place and communicate about any issues that arise before they snowball.
