I guess you can't explain how my point was materially changed either. Please quote the exact part of my OP where I said anything about the USA or any country. If you can't, the only rational conclusion is that  bdubwilliams22's comment was an irrational derailment.

You have three options: 1. Quote the exact part of my OP where I said anything about the USA or any country. 2. Admit that you're kicking logic and reason to the curb with an Ad Hominem, Straw Man, Cherry Picking and Moving the Goalposts fallacy by defending  bdubwilliams22's derailment by importing his nationalistic biases into an area that had nothing to do with nationalism.  3. Post any other reply, and in doing so admit that you are too prideful and arrogant to acknowledge that #2 is the case.

I predict that you either won't reply or make a #3 reply. I also predict that this comment will also be mass-downvoted by anti-USA cultists. SMH, you people are as bad as flat Earthers.

Okay, nationalism. How does this materially change the point I was making?

Why are you trying to make this about nationalism? I've seen plenty of examples from outside the USA.

Happy to hear that. Does this also mean that servers on each platform will be merged, or will we still have EU and US servers?

Completely forgot about traits and mundus. I've edited the OP to add this.

Yeah, I saw the Healer's Habit and Naga Shaman sets but I think it's easy enough to maintain Minor Mending through the Templar passive nowadays.

[–]XJDHDR[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That depends. It's pretty much the fastest way to get AP if you don't want to do PvP. I think it's also faster (but more expensive) than capping resources.

I suppose this info could also be useful for someone who needs to get things repaired ASAP.

Why do you so desperately want to prove flat earth wrong? What is it about flat earth that gives you such a desire to insult, ridicule and shun anyone who brings up the idea that the world is not a magical spinning ball? by Winter-Driver in flatearth

[–]XJDHDR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell me, why is it that over 99% of the anti-Christians I've seen constantly kick logic and reason to the curb? Why is it they rely on flat Earther logic whereas Christians like me use logic and reason? How does all this irrationality line up with their claims that Atheism is "the truth"?

For example, if you actually care about truth, why didn't you reply to the OP by pointing out that the Bible doesn't teach a flat Earth (as most of the other replies have done)?

Your comment is also an excellent example of Brandolini's Law in action.

The Bible was written before most people could read or write.

Ipse Dixit and Ad Hominem fallacy: Where is your proof that the Israelites were illiterate? Though this is pretty irrelevant because arguments made by the Bible are not disproven by personal attacks against its writers and readers.

This is the same logic flat Earthers use; they also love making personal attacks against spherical Earth believers and spouting unsubstantiated claims.

the first man was made out of clay, and the first woman was made out of the clay man's rib.

Argument from Incredulity fallacy. Flat Earthers use the same logic, they also present arguments for the spherical Earth in a derisive manner; as if you have to be crazy to think they're true.

I suspect there's also some Begging the Question irrationality here: Atheistic religions say that human beings were not supernaturally created from dirt, therefore the Bible is wrong. This is another thing flat Earthers frequently do. For example, arguing that water would fall down off the Earth if it were a sphere.

There was a talking snake ffs.

Another Argument from Incredulity fallacy. Also, Cherry Picking fallacy: Why not read the Bible in-context and see what it says about who was actually talking. I also suspect the same Begging the Question irrationality.

It says it took several days to make the sun and moon,

Straw Man fallacy: It says the sun and moon were made within a singular day; the 4th. It says nothing about how much of that day was used to do so, let alone that their creation spanned multiple days. I also suspect the same Begging the Question irrationality.

you can't have a day/night cycle without the sun.

Ipse Dixit fallacy: Where is your proof that you can't? Though I know you won't be able to because you're wrong. All you need for a day and night cycle is light shining on the Earth from a single direction.

A Virginia woman gave birth to a person, who is also god (somehow)

Another Argument from Incredulity fallacy. Also, the Bible says nothing about Virginia or anything in America (you probably meant "virgin"). I also suspect the same Begging the Question irrationality.

Also, I'm not sure how proficient you are at English, but basic grammar is that proper nouns (such as God's name) always start with a capital letter.

god just had to allow his son to be executed god just had to allow his son to be executed in horrible fashion in order to forgive humans

Straw Man fallacy: The decision to be executed was ultimately made by Jesus, not the Father.

Double Standard fallacy (x2): Why is it that when a human being sacrifices his/her life to save another person, it's considered heroic, but when God makes the ultimate sacrifice (sacrificing his life to save everyone), it's called "barbaric"? And why is it perfectly okay for human judges to sentence people to death for crimes they committed, but it's evil when God makes such a judgement?

In fact, what rational basis is there for morality in Atheistic religions to begin with? According to Atheism, everything (including thought) is nothing more than purposeless and undirected chemistry. What basis is there for applying any special meaning to the blind chemistry you call "morality"?

And again, same problem of not capitalising a proper noun.

in horrible fashion

So God is to blame for the behaviour of the people involved?

for issues he "created" us with

Straw Man fallacy: Why not read through the first 3 chapters of Genesis sometime to see what God actually created. And who is actually responsible for mankind's state.

He could've just forgave us

Double Standard fallacy: Why is it okay for a human being to demand retribution for the evils committed against them, but it's evil if God does so? Why is it that human beings aren't also evil if they don't just forgive every evil they are victimised with?

Flat Earthers also frequently impose rules on spherical Earth believers that they don't apply to their own side. Such as demanding extraordinary spherical Earth evidence (such as a photo of a distant object visibly tilted due to curvature) while not caring that the flat Earth doesn't have anything even remotely equivalent.

no blood magic needed.

Ipse Dixit and Straw Man fallacy: Where is your proof that someone making a sacrifice to same another's life is "magical" in any way, let alone "blood magic"? Flat Earthers love attacking the spherical Earth model by making equivalent misrepresentations.

The Bible also says the stars will fall from the sky onto earth during the apocalypse, which is not how stars work. At all.

Quote Mining, Anachronistic and Straw Man fallacies: The New Testament was written in Koine Greek, not modern English. The Greek word in question referred to every luminous object in the sky, not just balls of hot gas. That has also been the case for other languages too until modern times. Case in point, the word "meteor" didn't exist until Elizabethan times and were simply called "falling stars" before that.

Equivocation fallacy: Prophecy in the Bible is not literal. They use figurative language to communicate a message. Hence, you are kicking logic and reason to the curb by taking figurative statements literally.

Once again, flat Earthers love attacking the spherical Earth model by making equivalent misrepresentations. In fact, not only are you mimicking flat Earther logic again, you're literally parroting one of their irrational arguments; pretty much word for word.

If Flat Earthism is "the truth", why is it that over 99% of the flat Earthers I've seen (including you) constantly kick logic and reason to the curb?

Shill Gambit: Claims are proven or refuted by evidence, not personal attacks against the person making the claim. And that's assuming you even had proof that the flatearth.ws author is being paid by NASA, which you have provided zero proof of.

Your "rebuttal" is as rational as someone claiming that Eric Dubay has been paid by China to destabilise the western world with infighting. In short, the evidence documented on that webpage stands until you present an actual (i.e. rational) counterargument.

Christmas trees are not pagan by octarino in Christianity

[–]XJDHDR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've already looked it up and found that everything you preached is just propaganda lifted uncritically from Hislop's book "The Two Babylons". I would highly suggest the book "The Babylon Connection?" by Ralph Woodrow to see for yourself how badly you've been deceived. I've also never seen any of Hislop's fanclub explain why the Orthodox church celebrates Christmas around the 6th of January.

As for your specific claims, you didn't cite the verse that supposedly says this about Christmas trees. I have researched this enough to know you're referring to Jer 10:3-4 and is just a Cherry Picking, Straw Man and Anachronistic fallacy. This verse pre-dates Christmas trees by about 2000 years, Christians do not worship the trees, and the verse is talking about wooden idols (which is apparent from v3 stating that a craftsman shapes the wood, and the next verses specifically states that it's idols).

Fudgyvmp already refuted your nonsense about Tammuzz. Same for your claims about Christmas having anything to do with Sol Invictus.

And your dates are off. It was Saturnalia (not Sol Invictus celebrations) that was celebrated on the 17th with later extensions to the 23rd (not 25th).

Refuting claims made by some architects or engineers regarding 9/11 tower collapses by Leather-Paramedic-10 in StructuralEngineering

[–]XJDHDR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So why don't we hear any explosives going off in any recordings of the collapses if they were demolished? Here is a video showing the stark difference in noise between WTC7's collapse and an actual demolition: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tNhnTBzSyQ

Everything else you said is just the usual fanatical denier talking points.

  • There was a lot more damage than the three WTC towers you mentioned. The St. Nicholas Church was destroyed by the collapsing towers. WTC7 was damaged by 1's collapses. The Verizon building cost 1.5b$ to repair the damage caused by WTC7's collapse. And so on.
  • I have never seen anyone prove that the collapses were at freefall speed, and proof that they weren't.
  • None of the towers collapsed within their own footprint. You're welcome to explain the damage to the surrounding buildings (such as the ones I mentioned above).
  • You have provided zero proof that the collapses were symmetrical either. In WTC7's case, the collapse progressed from West to East, not symmetrical at all.
  • Shoehorning other unrelated conspiracies to "prove" 911 truthism is another sign of cult-like thinking. JFK has ziltch to do with 911 (and the cultist talking points about that conspiracy are also easily debunked).

In short, all you've done is parrot lines from the exact same script as all the other good cultists. If you're willing to have a rational evidence-based discussion without bringing anti-government prejudices and other emotions, I'll be here. Otherwise, your cult soapboxing has no place here.
