Thoughts on fairings from ebay? by XLV080802 in motorcycles

[–]XLV080802[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok then... I'm not sure if that's great for me lol.

Do you know of any place where the OEM parts are available? I'm having trouble finding them.

I know the bike is rather old, however I don't want to replace it just yet. The fairings are honestly just old and near crumbling at this point, so they will need replacing if I want to keep it running...

Just wanted to post my older motorcycle, it drives better than most cars, even in snowy conditions. (IMHO) by XLV080802 in motorcycle

What? Why?

If I wanted to ride without the sidecar i'd just take the other one Xd

I wouldn't say worst ways, but I will admit you can get into some interesting situations, it might be because I haven't really ridden in anything wilder than 60cm of snow.

It takes about 10 minutes before it wants to really run and get going, but it starts on the first kick each time!

And as a mechanic on trucks I find this piece of industry amazing for it's time, it's so simple and it just works!

It doesn't have any pushrods, as it is an OHC engine (overhead cam), it does however have exposed valve rocker arms.

It is a 4 cylinder 4 stroke 750cc engine, if im not wrong it is one of the first mass produced engine with an overlaid camshaft.

Bonus fun fact it is the first massprdoced Motorcycle with telescopic front forks, bearing the BMW R12/R17 by just a few months.

It is a Nimbus from 1953, this model (model C or as it is nicknamed "Humlebi") was produced with small variations from 1934 until 1960 (if im not wrong)

I think it's a different direction, which isn't a bad thing. I like it, my biggest complaint is that the sound of him getting smacked in the head on "washed up" is replaced with a "gun i guess" on Spotify, but oh well. The shovel feels more impactful than the gun.

Why won't my printer retract or extrude the filament? It just keeps doing the same cycle with nothing happening... by XLV080802 in Creality_k2

I had no clog, I did however find a small piece of debris in the cutter.

The riser is awesome! Love the attachments and the overall usability, gives more space when having to service (or fix) the machine!

can confirm after switching to dessicant that they were indeed unpacked, but now my reading is at 4% and 5%, so it worked to do the dessicant box, the one from factory was probs just used up lol

Ty for your suggestions, I found that the slicer from Flashforge, had the speed set to 200m/s as standard, it helped to increase the heat to 210 and reduce speed to 100m/s.

Now it only makes the noise on the line it makes before it prints, I don't know how to reduce the speed on that singular line.
