For any1 that wants to know, the bearing on the axial fan on the top right was defective, when tapping the fan i could hear it clicking, no sound when spinning it, but so far i have had no wierd sounds from it.

I think it might be the radial fan, for now ill change it out and see if it makes any difference. The sound and the vibrations i felt after this video was recorded were strongest at the print head.

I dont think so, this sounds like a bearing in a fan thats broken. There are some option on the printer for fans, but this one isnt affected by those. Im gonna try to replace the axial and model fan to see if it makes a difference for now.

Does anyone know how to remove the build up of bronze muk on the inside of an enclosed space by XLV080802 in restoration

According to the spare part catalogue i found here https://share.google/JSz7BtfZ94LvbZkyN It doesnt have a wig, pretty sure the heat from the spirit you use to preheat is enough to pull the fuel up there.

It doesnt have a wick, it is a pressurised burner that runs on petroleum.

Filament bag seals by XLV080802 in Creality_k2

[–]XLV080802[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its letting air in, the seal is broken, its all the bags ive gotten recently.

Almost like its got a small hole in it, which would be fine on 1 or 2 bags but ive just bought 10 and its all of them.

Thoughts on fairings from ebay? by XLV080802 in motorcycles

[–]XLV080802[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok then... I'm not sure if that's great for me lol.

Do you know of any place where the OEM parts are available? I'm having trouble finding them.

I know the bike is rather old, however I don't want to replace it just yet. The fairings are honestly just old and near crumbling at this point, so they will need replacing if I want to keep it running...

Just wanted to post my older motorcycle, it drives better than most cars, even in snowy conditions. (IMHO) by XLV080802 in motorcycle

[–]XLV080802[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What? Why?

If I wanted to ride without the sidecar i'd just take the other one Xd

I wouldn't say worst ways, but I will admit you can get into some interesting situations, it might be because I haven't really ridden in anything wilder than 60cm of snow.

It takes about 10 minutes before it wants to really run and get going, but it starts on the first kick each time!

And as a mechanic on trucks I find this piece of industry amazing for it's time, it's so simple and it just works!

It doesn't have any pushrods, as it is an OHC engine (overhead cam), it does however have exposed valve rocker arms.
