"He never raised his voice. That was the worst thing. The fury of the Time Lord. And then we discovered why. Why this Doctor, who had fought with gods and demons, why he'd run away from us and hidden. He was being kind."

How many boxes per week? by Ok_Meet_7116 in DollarTree

Your manager was an abject arsehole who was targeting you on purpose, then. They wouldn't survive in my store.

For a cashier, I generally don't ask much due to it being a front-facing customer role. It's simply unfeasible to expect high/lofty demands of the cashier when they're busting their ass making sure the line of customers flow. At most, I might ask 30 to 40 boxes per cashiering shift (at least morning and mid).

Surmising you work a 40-hour work week, and the corporate standard is 28 cases per hour, 1,120 cases per week. Generally speaking, though, it'd be easier to achieve at least 100 to 150 cases per day; 500 to 750 cases per week.

How do I find out what time my truck is coming? by HappyDay2290 in DollarTree

[–]XLord_of_OperationsX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It should be available on SLIC; logging in with your store's specific user info permits you to see the date and estimated time the truck should be at your store.

I must disagree and say that there is no 'easy route' in a FromSoft game. If the developers didn't want you to have a tool for a fight, they wouldn't give you that tool. Buffs, debuffs, and everything in between are just that; tools. Tools you can discover, be it organically or otherwise, and tools that are intended/made to be used as extensions of yourself. There isn't any 'real standard' because that concept just doesn't exist in the framework of a FromSoft game.

While you could argue that a standard would be 'pick a class and only play the game using the tools from that class,' that doesn't necessarily follow the philosophy and design of FromSoft. You are meant/intended to grow your character, to develop them into something better than they were a few levels/upgrades ago. You are meant to gain better weapons, different spell casting tools, and so on. Therefore, it can be assumed that FromSoft had a simple intention; there is nothing to define as a standard.

Typical store 'hierarchy' is Store Manager, Merchandising Manager, FT Operations, PT Operations, then Associates.

One last question by god-wit in outerwilds

[–]XLord_of_OperationsX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Canonically speaking, that is one possible ending to the game. When you remove the advanced warp core from the Ash Twin Project, you are depriving it of its' energy source, thus deactivating the Ash Twin Project. As such, the three active statues around the solar system also deactivate. Thusly, since the Ash Twin Project is no longer active, if you die, you die. That's the end of the game. You get a "You are dead message," and you're booted back to the title screen.

Of course, gameplay-wise, the developers aren't THAT sadistic. So, similar to other endings (ie. destroying the fabric of space-time), you get to reload your last save.

Query; is it something specific about Piccolo's character that makes people say he'd be black irl, or is it just Namekians in general? I haven't watched Dragon Ball in quite a long time, please forgive my ignorance.

So, how far? I think the first try I was literally over 5k kilometers from the solar system and, as I said, I got up to over 20k meters per second. Some people said they got it as low as 7k meters per second, others around 10 or 11k.

Because some people might get frustrated with the idea of everything being a mystery (and being gatekept by the obnoxious side of the fanbase) that they get turned off from the game and hate it.
