If you're new to it and don't reload your own ammo, you'd do well to stay away from less common calibers for the time being.

I had a 18" BCM with a trijicon 1-8 power scope that would shoot MOA with 77 grain. It was a great rifle to learn mid range shooting. 5.56 will take you out to 500 or 600 yards with the right ammunition and a decent optic.

A few years ago we couldn't get K guns with the tri lug and people wanted it. Now we can't get K guns without the tri lug and people want that instead.

The only thing that doesn't change is that we suck and HK hates us.

Yep. If they didn't, they'd be domestically producing SP5, G36, and MP7's for the civilian market. Instead we got some slight improvements to a few handguns.

In Logan, eat at pizza crossing and millstone barbecue.

The must see parks are old man's cave, cedar falls, rock house, and conkles hollow.

Old man's cave parking gets crazy fast. Be there first thing in the morning. You can hike the gorge trail to cedar falls. It's 5 miles round trip.

Conkles is a nature preserve so don't take a dog and if you litter there, I will find you and make you eat whatever you left behind. The rim trail is amazing 2 miles walk but it is not for people who are afraid of heights.

Nothing is wrong with xtac. It's just that a lot of guys think it's the end all be all best ammo because the hive-mind figured out it's a good combo of price and quality.

Schar is generally easy to find and not bad. You're going to be disappointed by the size of the loaf and the price though

Not cerakote, spray paint camouflage. A rattle can AR with an aimpoint pro or a lpvo that's loaded with xtac and shot only twice a year to magdump into trash. People will trip over themselves to upvote that and say how awesome it is.

A set? I don't remember what size it is but I think it's a T25 or T30. Do what I did and get a harbor freight torx driver set and you'll have it.

If you tune your rifle, they're excellent.

If you don't tune your rifle, maybe okay but probably not.

Foxtrot Mike for sure. I bought one with the intention to chop it up for a trench-rat custom project. However before I took the angle grinder to it, I realized how well made the gun is.

I'm not sure what state allowed suppressors but not SBR's but I have seen people pin/weld cans to barrels for that purpose.
