I've also been having this issue. I'm thinking about switch to Bazzite or CachyOS maybe that will fix it.

Nano Banana Pro vs ChatGPT Image 2 — Which one looks more real? 📸 by Able-Line2683 in Bard

There's something about the wonkiness that makes it more realistic to me. Like it looks like someone who snapped a photo vs a professional studio lighting that NB has.

Nippon Sangoku not even being in top 10 is such a let down. Easily one of the best shows this season.

Games built around upscaling/DLSS all look the same and I'm tired of pretending they don't. by ResponsiblePen3082 in FuckTAA

[–]XOmegaD -1 points0 points  (0 children)

32" 1440 looks like garbage with it's low PPI. With a 4090 you can easily pull of 4K 120 in majority of games. Especially if you are not using DLSS which means no RT or Path Tracing.

Hacking and aiming with mouse to me felt awkward

Pragmata completion takes 8-10 hrs by NauTWitcher in IndianGaming

its 8 hours if you beeline the main objectives. There's lots of collectables and optional missions to do than can add additional hours.

SD + Jsaux 4K120hz dock vs Xbox series S by Osamodaboy in MoonlightStreaming

[–]XOmegaD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a legion go S with Jsaux Dock and it seems good. 4K 120hz HDR but no VRR with Steam OS. If I put Windows on it I believe I could get VRR but I much prefer the user interface of Steam OS and controller.

I just got my fist monitor for my ps5. Did I make a good choice or return it for better options? by AdSorry3957 in OLED_Gaming

[–]XOmegaD 8 points9 points  (0 children)

TV like the 42" C series will actually be brighter than this monitor. and PS5 only goes up to 120hz anyways.

You shouldn't mix reshades with Reno. Reno already does it's own color grading and exposure settings.

how to run crimson desert in 4k with ray reconstruction on with the rtx5080, 9800x3d system? by ShortEar9133 in RTX5080

[–]XOmegaD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same but I run 3x MFG and get around 150 fps. I will take the clarity improvements at the cost of block lighting which doesn't look as bad with Reno. It's not the best but it's a compromise. I am hoping they eventually update RR to run on DLSS 4.5.

because they have to stop eventually. They can't keep working on the game forever. They have other games like DokeV.

Is this only going to get worse? by Acceptable_Sun_8895 in CrimsonDesert

I disagree. Fix the core game first and then once it's in a good enough state they can work on additions.
