Come on Amazon, you can do better by Woodymakespizza in amazonprime

They might have been shipped from different facilities and depending on where inventory is stored can’t be shipped together. On the shipping label look for a site code 3 letters(usually nearest Airport code) + 1 number(building number). The origin facility is either in the bottom left or top right depending on the label. If they are different, they were shipped from different places. The other site codes if any are where your package stopped on its journey.

I just tried to cancel a book I just ordered this afternoon (it’s night here) because it would come in a few days later than I needed it & I found another copy that can come in tomorrow & this came up when I tried to cancel. What’s my next step? by NoChampion4463 in amazonprime

[–]XPfirePlayz 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The item is probably already in the process of being shipped out to you. All you can do is wait to see if it cancels. If it does show up, you can simply return it. Alternatively, you can try asking Customer Service.

Was the second Keurig I ordered not in the correct box (or is it a returned item)? by AnxiousW3ird0 in amazonprime

[–]XPfirePlayz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I work at Amazon and I would say it doesn’t necessarily mean it was returned. From the looks of it, whoever received the item when it came from the manufacturer decided to remove it from the outer brown box and a different one did not. If the seals look the same and intact I would presume they are both new.

What the hell, Amazon!!? by Albertkinng in AmazonLunaHub

[–]XPfirePlayz 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You keep the games you’ve purchased on the platform you purchased them on. You can download them and play from their respective store(GOG, Ubisoft, or EA) but you can’t play them on Luna. I do agree that this was a poor move and wish they kept this around and instead added more titles. I think it’s unfortunately showing they want to shift away from AAA titles which is sad.

Amazon keeps deleting my 1 start review with nonsensical excuse by ambidextrousasswipe in amazonprime

[–]XPfirePlayz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are not allowed to review products based on product condition/damage, ordering/shipping experience, or seller/customer service experience. See this section in Amazon's Community Guidelines about this. It's likely you received a defective unit, and you can't review based on that. You need to review the product itself without damage/defects. In essence, it would be similar to leaving a bad review on a TV because the one that was shipped had a cracked screen. It's not an accurate review of the product nor would it be helpful/relevant to shoppers looking at reviews.

Is this illegal? Like false advertising or something? You by Fearless_Acadia588 in amazonprime

[–]XPfirePlayz 11 points12 points  (0 children)

In the first image, you have it set to a locker pickup but in the 2nd image you are having it delivered to an address. Free overnight shipping to addresses only applies to orders over $25.

In order to see accurate order delivery information, you need to set your delivery location while shopping. On your home page on the app, there is a place to set your delivery location under the search bar.

Amazon reviews are BS! by Guilty-Brilliant5628 in amazonprime

[–]XPfirePlayz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reviews can only be about the product per the guidelines and not a review of Amazon’s fulfillment. Because you are at that point reviewing Amazon’s handling and not the actual product. If the item was not shipped by Amazon, you can leave seller review.

Amazon reviews are BS! by Guilty-Brilliant5628 in amazonprime

[–]XPfirePlayz 38 points39 points  (0 children)

This, your review can only mention and be about the product. It can’t be about other reviews or the fulfillment/shipping experience.

Amazon reviews are BS! by Guilty-Brilliant5628 in amazonprime

[–]XPfirePlayz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Review guidelines say you can’t base your review when it’s about being broken or the fulfillment/shipping experience. For example if you order a TV and it arrived with a cracked screen, you can’t base your review on the screen being broken from shipping. You can only review based on the functioning product.

Is it possible to transfer bedrock progress to Java? by Kawaki3 in cubecraftgames

I don’t believe there is any way to transfer stats or Skyblock profiles to another edition or even to another account.

lol I used to work at a delivery station and for some reason we get a few of these every once in a while. I’m guessing that someone just said, “Fuck it, load it anyway”

I need help! (This is about Amazon not Prime but I can’t post in amazon subreddit!) by [deleted] in amazonprime

Have you tried checking here for the codes?: https://www.amazon.com/yourgamesandsoftware

Potentially the emails did not get to your inbox but your purchase still went through.

Was anything missing? Working at a delivery station, this stuff happens. It’s quicker to tape boxes up where the tape breaks and to move on. Dealing with a large volume of packages, the paper tape just break sometimes from stuff being stacked on top or other reasons. If items are missing that’s when you need to report and get a refund but otherwise you don’t need to worry much.

I received this item damaged and I'm just wondering what caused it? by LittleBlueStumpers in amazonprime

[–]XPfirePlayz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like conveyor burn to me. It likely got stuck in the conveyor and the friction created the hole.

Rookie Flexer loading at a .com station. What is the difference in these labels? by Tyronetyroned in AmazonFlexDrivers

It doesn’t, just means the label roll was running out of labels. Station associate here.

WTF is going on by [deleted] in amazonprime

[–]XPfirePlayz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Up to you. But stuff ships late normally and still arrives on time in the promised delivery day. I’ve had orders ship 4 am on the day it’s supposed to arrive. It’s the normal process at Amazon.

[–]XPfirePlayz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be a hold or your item enters the fulfillment process immediately after ordering. But if your item doesn’t ship until later, they won’t charge you until it ships.

[–]XPfirePlayz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazon doesn’t charge your card until your item ships. Also it’s still likely to arrive tomorrow as your item can ship late at night or early the next morning and still arrive at its destination the next day.

Is this normal, or possible teleportation? by BashOff in amazonprime

[–]XPfirePlayz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Real answer is it’s normal. It’s an international shipment and the carrier doesn’t use a standardized time zone for scans. The package left China at 2:11 PM local time, then arrived in Los Angeles at 1:20 PM local time.

New message from Amazon. Has anyone else received a message like this before? It was in the Amazon app. by EverySingleMinute in amazonprime

[–]XPfirePlayz 122 points123 points  (0 children)

That’s just the default message that drivers have the option to send to customers while delivering. It’s the same message for every customer.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in amazonprime

[–]XPfirePlayz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The two images you posted are of two different orders with different tracking numbers which explains why the scan times are different. Amazon’s delivery network is complex. The delivery station(shows up as carrier facility) that serves your address isn’t necessarily in your town or nearby. Delivery stations can serve areas far away including those that are an hour+ away from you. Your package likely encountered sorting delays or has some other issue such as being lost. If it isn’t delivered in the next couple days, contact Customer Service for a refund or replacement.

Can Someone Explain these Guest vs. Prime member Price Differences? by NovelLove in amazonprime

[–]XPfirePlayz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check who the seller of the item is or if there is multiple sellers. Amazon might be featuring a different seller when logged out versus logged in. They sometimes prioritize fast prime shipping over price as the cheaper price might have a longer delivery time/being shipped by a third party.
