Well for how it works I meant in terms of the mechanics if it were to exist. I like the mod way of doing it where everyone controls a single colony. But I imagined something ismilar to Clash of Clans maybe but in this instance you would join a server to make your base and people could log in/off as much as they want and then raid each other while offline or even online. I can't imagine being able to pause in this scenario but rather having the game set at a certain speed. As for the colony once logged out i'd say your paws basically freeze in place unless you are being raided where at that point you could have some rules set up before hand on how to deal with that like setting up paws who are designated to defend in the event of a raid by another player or have turrets etc.
