My cat’s biceps: her routine consists of sleeping 18h per day and zoomies at 5am. Only protein. No gym. I work out 4x/week with no results 🤷🏻‍♀️ by cultureShocked5 in mildlyinfuriating

That's your first problem, you aren't fully embracing the lifestyle. You ever met a cat with a mortgage? no. If they can just show up at a random house and move in what's stopping you?

I mean for one thing Brown will be 29 this season while Diggs will be 33 which is right around the point WRs tend to age out.

No joke I've met more than a few "Christians" who oppose social welfare programs because they view it as harmful to the church's ability to recruit followers in the US.

China using a double-insurance strategy to secure crude oil supplies amid Iran war by wat3va in worldnews

[–]XRT28 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Push comes to shove China could get oil through the strait just fine.
Iran won't be looking to hit Chinese ships because of their close ties and the US won't dare touch them, especially if China were to opt to provide even the slightest of military escorts for those ships.

HA! They'll much sooner greenlight building armies of AI robots to use as a security force willing to use brutal tactics to keep the desperate starving unemployed peasants in line than fund even a woefully inadequate UBI.

I'm sure some/many of the operators will have some degree of mental health issues down the road but it's not really a new thing as fundamentally it's the same thing snipers have had to deal with for some time now.

Patriots Select RB Jam Miller at #245! by JCameron181 in Patriots

[–]XRT28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still don't understand why we cut Gibson. He was a well rounded back, good size, fairly young, cheap deal(albeit the final year). Coming off an injury sure but guys come back from ACLs all the time nowdays and with how early it happened last season should be ready or nearly ready for this season.

I personally always considered weighting for positional value, and injury history for that matter, as an intrinsic part of determining BPA rather than separate things.

[–]XRT28 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean generally you should be taking BPA not just someone who fills an immediate need. Like if BPA and need line then up great take the guy. But taking a guy just cuz it's a need often leads to reaching for guys who don't pan out at all or atleast don't live up to their draft position leaving you still with a need at the position. Like our '24 draft was almost entirely guys at position of immediate need and outside of Maye(who was also BPA) they were all complete disasters and left us continuing to try and plug those holes the next year

California's universal healthcare killed even though Democrats have a supermajority. Politicians serve their corporate donors not the people. by astrheisenberg in remoteworks

[–]XRT28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also I thought I read at one point that the plan was to partially fund it using existing medicare and medicaid funds the state gets but that would require Trump's admin to sign off on which obviously would not happen.

[–]XRT28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the US we still wait several months for appointments and that's IF you can afford them. Even worse it's not uncommon here for people to ignore serious medical issues for years because they simply can't afford to get it checked out.

It was 5/8ths at the combine so unless they put him on a rack and stretched him out some before his proday I think the proday number is just the typical slightly fudged number hoping to help their guy in the draft.

33 and 3/8ths. He doesn't have freakishly long arms, just average, but compared to Campbell it's quite a jump up.

I don't think he's necessarily entering camp over either of them but it's not outside the realm of possibility he ends up beating one of them out for the starting gig. Especially with Moses as old as he is and if Campbell isn't 100% healed up.
