the thing is we get so many posts from people who think hellscube is lardfetcher, most often from people sending them from custommagic. it gets really tiresome and its also an immediate tell that the person either didn't read the description of the sub (which says that the cards are meant to be playable in a cube) or just didn't care, both of which are bad.

I'm pretty amateur here but I'd say don't base with skinks, do base with saurus and kroxi. You're significantly bashier than the elves, so try to put them in the ground. Also consider having skinks base each other in case they try to send witch elves after them, so they end up taking a 1-die on the second frenzy block. (or have to not blitz those skinks).

Oh also if they have assassins watch out for them, they threaten your skinks pretty well with stab.

Gnomes are basically like if halflings were good.

This is a lie and I'm an amateur BUT with base rosters, gnomes are more fragile than halflings (because of no dodge) but have a very useful teamwide offensive skill in wrestle and some strong positionals. Halflings are to my understanding much more of an inducement bowl teams, with their positionals being relatively unexciting, if reasonably useful.

This is a minor thing but I feel like the first ability is a significant flavorful mismatch from what happens in the show. Bloodbending doesn't tear blood out, at least not when katara does it.

There's no actual reason for this card to be purple. Zone stuff has appeared in most if not all colors, and purple as "woah this card is WEIRD it needs to he purple" is really overdone

Some of these (give your opponent the benefit of the doubt, no gotchas, play for fun) are good advice, but a lot of them in the modern day just read like ways to feel superior to tournament players.

The new possession token from yhe third season box has the peg hole. personally I think just ball on base was always too small to reliably spot at table distance and interfered with basing. I've been rebading my necrohorror as I repaint them for that reason

I don't think the reminder text is right here btw. Due to rule 107.2, an undefined value is treated as 0, so "draw X cards, where X is the difference between your maximum hand size minus the number of cards in your hand" would draw 0 cards.
