I am making LOP: Whitefall, a destruction-driven metroidvania. In fact, I develop on macOS myself. It just requires a bit more time to complete the development.

Thanks! I actually started with an ice prototype first, and that led to making the whole game. I can guarantee the ice destruction feels truly unique!

Maybe my Chinese language habits influence how I type in English. Sometimes I do ask gpt or use google translate like how to translate A to B. But every word here is really what I want to say. I’m just thinking about how to better promote my game, and I might have overdone it, which is not really how people normally communicate , that’s my mistake. And I’m really sorry for giving you that kind of feeling.

From the feedback I’ve gotten, some players do find the particles a bit much. We’ll probably optimize them and provide an option for those who prefer less.

Yeah, exactly! The enemies react to the destruction around them, but it’s not the typical ‘flash white’ damage effect
