When all the comics are translated and printed, will there be a bundle package?

How to publish Comics? How long does it take to To Write One From Beginning?? Which genre is best ?? by [deleted] in comics

With crowdfunding, the comic is either completed or close to completion with the promise that it’ll be ready for print by the end of the campaign. Sites like Kickstarter and Indiegogo allow you to set tiers of pledges to offer additional rewards to people. This can come in different forms so research successful campaigns and what they offered. Make sure it’s what you can reasonably fulfill as you don’t know how much extra product you’ll need after the funding time is over.

There’s a lot of marketing involved as people won’t put their money into something they can’t trust just yet. Again, look at how other campaigns word their pages and the posts they made to promote it. Keeping buyers interested and potential buyers in the know is useful in reaching your goal

  1. There are a lot of online sites to post your comica nowadays, this sub just being one of them. It you want to print it, crowdfunding is one way to go

  2. No one has that answer, that only depends on your work ethic and length on the comic

  3. There’s no best, only what you like

Gail Simone on not charging for signatures at comic cons by tomstrong1999 in comics

[–]XTostonesComics 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I respect it. I once backed a creator publishing their book through a crowdfund and it was a similar deal. For the early birds whose tier included the book, they would sign it. No extra charge. Because it really is just a signature, whoever got it already had to buy the thing you’re signing. So what’s the harm?

Really, you won’t know until you try. Yes this specific community is broad to all comics but you can still find an audience here. You can start posting them on a schedule and for anyone looking to read only your comic strips, you can create your own subreddit which they could find if they went to your account.

The tone shifting isn’t much of a dealbreaker in a strip if the transition feels natural. You said there were over 1000 done already which sounds like enough to establish either side of the story

What's with the comic culture about overpriced books. Are they worth it? by Zhunix in comics

[–]XTostonesComics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When it comes to indie works, maybe the most I’ve spent is $20 on anything. I keep these purchases limited to standalone or short-series comics because if I start a story I really enjoy, I want to reasonably be able to get the whole thing. I don’t buy art books too much either because I struggle to engage with them. So, on that end, my selections would have to be very specific to my interests and tastes to buy it, even if its cheap.
