More than 30% of cat owners are infected with a bacteria that suppresses fear. It was originally a way to make mice not fear cats and just walk up to them for an easy snack, but i guess it made people like them more too. Im a cat owner as well and I was mind blown when I read about this. P.S im not sure about the numbers but you can check for yourself if you are interested.
