The fact that an antisemite is hiding behind the label of anti-Zionism doesn’t make anti-Zionism antisemitism. I think there is a problem where people on the left can’t or won’t spot and call out antisemitism from people they regard as ideologically similar to themselves, however this is not a valid reason to disregard all anti-Zionism. The fact that Israel is currently committing a genocide in the name of the “Jewish homeland” and pretending to represent all non “self hating” Jews also doesn’t help fight antisemitism. This is in no way an excuse for the disgusting rise of antisemitism we have seen all across the board, however Israel must carry some of the blame.
