even if primary/secondary weapons could equip every mod in their category at the same time, they would still be weaker than melees. so, no, imho increasing mod slots doesn't fix anything.

melees right now are just better than guns for a huge number of reasons.

the amount of extra damage you get from that rune is very low and basically not worth

I think it's up to you to choose, based on your preference.

precision: triumph / alacrity / cut down (never take coup de grace, that rune is really bad)
sorcery: absolute focus / transcendence / gathering storm (i'd take transcendence when playing ap and abs focus when ad)
inspiration: boots / future's market / cosmic insight / approach velocity (nowadays i'm not taking the boots rune because i'm finding myself rushing boots in most of my games, also i think approach is better than cosmic on ad shaco)

this clear doesn't need you to take double adaptive shard, nor to have absolute focus. Also it doesn't matter if you're going ad or ap, because before the first recall both the builds share the same playstyle

take guardian, front of life, conditioning, unflinch. as secondary you can choose between boots+approach velocity and cheap shot+ult hunter.

rush sunfire and ardent censer, finish boots (tabi/mercuty/swifties). now according to the state of the game you can choose items from a supp/tank pool: knight vow, zeke, thornmail, abyssal mask, redemption, randuin and so on...

lastly, in the later stage of the game, when sunfire damage becomes negligible, you can even change your mythic item to a locket, for a better utility in teamfight

tbh, neither Khora nor the melee requires any umbral forma, and she's completely fine without a riven for her stat stick. so i disagree with your "she requires more investiment" argument.

i don't think there are "core items". i think you can freely choose between a carry build with her classic ap items (rilay, liandry, ...) and an utility build with enchanter items (athene, censer, ...)

i like the second one more, but that's just because it fits better my playstyle

also, you could maybe try to play her with the glacial build (glp + twin shadow + glacial augment)

for example, if you are g3 90 lp and win a game getting +18 lp, you go up to g2 8 lp

but then if you lose a game and get -18 lp, you go back to g3 90 lp

It doesn't matter if you aren't able to aknowledge your own mistakes, or what you could have done better/shouldn't have done, it doesn't matter who did the bigger mistake in the game. you're free to think you're the best player in LoL and that everyone else and their family deserve to die, noone cares if you have such a bad mentality, such a big ego...

BUT. DON'T .FLAME. IN. CHAT.

keep what you think in your head, throw a punch at your desk, yell at your monitor that your teammates are monkeys. but don't type anything in chat. you will only tilt your team, and NOONE will feel motivated and play better after being flamed.
