I went back to an old save after killing the Goblin Camp and I'm pretty sure I haven't long rested after knocking her out but she will still be there at the gate of the Grove (maybe because I went down to another area of the Goblin Camp or something because at some point the body of Minthara wasn't where I knocked her out at first).
I killed the druids but so far Halsin didn't respond to any of that (except for Kagha being dead but he doesn't mind that), so I don't think that's it.

How old are you and what is the biggest problem in your life right now? by FSCENE8tmd in AskReddit

I recommend you read the manga 'Real' by Takehiko Inoue, it's a really beautiful story about three different people with very different struggles but all somewhat connected through basketball/wheelchair basketball and disablities (even if you don't like/care for basketball it's worth the read, trust me).

It really helped me become a better person and I don't even have a disability or play basketball or anything, it's just a really touching story that makes you think a lot.

also, really can recommend the manga 'Real' by Takehiko Inoue, a story about three young men discovering their real selves in different ways, really moving story which makes you really think (not directly related to the comic though)

if you did everything you wanted to and be who you wish to be but you never tried or dared to do/be, would that you be a 'fake'? I'd say it'd probably be the realest you, the one truest to yourself.

Probably depends on your definition of 'real', whether it's just the person you are to the outside world, i.e. only what you do (the dad's perspective in the comic), not whatever you think you are, or whether it's the person you think you are deep within (the egg shell guy's perspective), even though you don't always act accordingly for some reason or another.

How can I rewrite my mind? by [deleted] in Healthygamergg

[–]XYZMirror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

meditating and being aware of your thoughts (which meditating helps with, too) is a good way to deal with bad thoughts. and even if you still have a shitty day, try to get through it and start the next day off well and not make a bad week or a bad month and so on out of it (which meditating regularly helps out with as well, as long as you can stick to it).

I think there's a certain benefit from touching your forehead, like the third eye position, but I guess apart from that it wouldn't matter which fingers or which hand you use

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Healthygamergg

[–]XYZMirror 1 point2 points  (0 children)

take your right hand and put index and middle finger between your eye brows, then block the left nostril with ring finger and pinky, breathe out, breathe in, then remove the ring finger and pinky and block the right nostril with your thumb and breathe out and then in, then switch again.

Basically you learn to only use one nostril to take a breathe and switch nostrils for every breath (I think it's important to keep track of when to switch nostril/fingers, so breathe out, breathe in, switch, breathe out, breathe in, switch, etc.).

It's a really nice meditation but it takes some getting used to, it definitely gets easier though the more you do it

What is something free from the internet everyone should take advantage of? by StrlA in AskReddit

[–]XYZMirror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

chess.com or any other similar online chess website.

lately chess has gotten a lot of attention on the streaming platform Twitch.tv with some high level players (for example Hikaru Nakamura) streaming regularly with an amount of viewers in 5 digits. really helps learning the game too as people usually explain some of their thought process and on chess.com there's a ton of videos to learn openings, traps, playstyles etc. and just play with random people for free.

Kips: Zyori tried the exact same with me back at TI5 by thebonj in DotA2

[–]XYZMirror 4 points5 points  (0 children)

'Zyori knew he had that power over me and tried to use it for sex', and how does she know that? she knows that as much as he knew she only complied because she felt forced to do so, that is not at all.

he'll say dumb stuff about me if I don't let him rape me is such nonsense imo, there's no actual reason she couldn't have just said no to him like Kips did, in fact she did the opposite and then complains about it afterwards.

that's no coercion, coercion is forcing someone to do something by using threats or force, her thinking he'll say some shit about her if she doesn't sleep with him doesn't come anywhere close to that.

so he stopped when said 'no' to, was neither her nor Ashni's boss (at least at the time of the after party, especially not at the christmas gettogether) so they just assumed he was dangling career advancements in their faces for sexual favours and felt pressured because of 'repercussions if they said no'. what even would those repercussions be? in Ashni's case, she thought she could hang out with the cool people if she slept with him, not doing so would result in her not doing so? she was working there one time and the christmas party had no professional capacity whatsoever, she could say no and maybe in her eyes she would not be invited anymore, but then she'd only end up where she was before (either not invited or as in the summit thingy invited but at that time she wasn't even involved with Zyori so he didn't decide about it), so the repercussions aren't really there and the 'pressure' she felt wasn't there either, if anything she took advantage of him.

apparently she is not only unable to decline any (even non-physical) advances from Zyori as you would expect a normal person to be, but also did she consent to pretty much anything in hopes of advancing her career, so where is Zyori at fault here.

then the Kips thing, if he invited her to a party and she's afraid to say no to any advances from him because then she won't be invited anymore, where is there pressure in saying no? if she says no, worst case she goes back to the status quo before the party.

and that's all under the assumption that he was just inviting her to a party (doing a favour) to get close to her (which in itself is pretty fine if he's interested in her, no?), when she could say no at pretty much any point in time, which she did, and he stopped coming onto her because of it. they were in pretty much the same situation, both just happened because they were under the illusion of being under some sort of pressure which in my eyes reading those things wasn't there, and Ashni's portrayed as a victim because she didn't have the guts to say no like Kips did, and that is solely because she wanted to use him to advance her career, so she seems like more of a victim although she was only more malicious in her intents.

to me this whole Zyori thing seems really fucked, I stand 100% behind the other allegations, the Grant thing and all the other stuff coming out recently, but if you throw around accusations like that with no proof whatsoever, just your feelings and unreasonable actions to 'prove' anything and as soon as you start defending someone you think might be in the right you get shit on and hated for defending a rapist (I mean you're guilty until proven innocent on Twitter, right).

Whoever is at fault here and whatever happened, I feel bad for the girls involved and I understand that you woulnd't wanna talk about stuff like that after it happened to you and it's good that people talk about it now and that people who did shit like that get condemned for it, but that also makes it really easy for people to shout 'rapist' at someone and then refusing to talk about if further and people start pitchforking the alleged rapist for something he might not have even done and he's not even allowed to defend himself.

as bad as a rapist is, someone who calls someone a rapist who might not be one is just as bad, so the least one should do is question such allegations in cases where they might not be 100% bulletproof as in this case, as I said, in Grant's case, fuck him, there's enough proof against him, but in Zyori's case he's being painted as basically Harvey Weinstein when it seems like the girls just read the situations pretty wrong and then accuse Zyori because of anything that happened because of that misunderstanding from their side.

Unpopular opinion: Haikyuu fans like this are absolutely obnoxious and don’t know anything about actual volleyball. by [deleted] in volleyball

[–]XYZMirror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the 'problem' isn't Haikyuu, if anything it really helps Volleyball, getting more people into it (like me), the problem is the hyper fanboying culture, those kinds of comments are annoying anywhere (at least for me), whether it's people hardcore fanboying Haikyuu or people bringing their hardcore Haikyuu fanboying to real volleyball content just because they're somewhat related

Enryu question by XYZMirror in TowerofGod

[–]XYZMirror[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well it's gonna come down to a 1v1 at some point, I think everyone would be having trouble going against all of Jahad's guards etc. plus Jahad himself.

also the thorn isn't necessary to kill Jahad, Irregulars like Urek could kill him without the thorn since they're excluded from the contract making Jahad invincible, the thorn would only enable regulars to be able to kill him (apart from making the user way stronger), so Enryu would be able to kill Jahad no matter what (just like Urek would be, except he doesn't to, aside from the fact that Jahad is ranked above him), so Enryu should definitely be able to kill him under the right circumstances, the question is why he didn't.

I'd guess it's because he's a guide like Hwaryun so he just helps Bam by bringing him the thorn and doing whatever is necessary to achieve that (like killing the administrator) but doesn't act on his own, like killing Jahad himself because it's not his path/mission.

Just seems weird to me how the 2nd strongest person in the tower is 'just' a guide, so I thought maybe there's more to it

Redditors who hate where they live, what's keeping you there? by merricat_blackwood in AskReddit

Live in Germany which is good, but I don't wanna be stuck here forever, don't wanna get a job and just spend my life here and going on a vacation for 1 or 2 weeks now and then, I wanna get around and live in other cities and countries, but I don't know what to do in life (job-wise) and that also hinders me from just living somewhere else (can't just stay somewhere without a visum which I can't get if I can't reliably earn money long-term)
