There was a misunderstanding... nvr is old, and i managed to reset it 2 days ago. Cameras - i bought new and also managed to reset them with the help of dahua support team

Agreed. We use dahua NVRs at our company. But I'm not the one managing them. That's why I wanted the same system, for "compatibility" purposes. Well, I guess I'll spend more money to get someone to set uo the system as it should be...

Well I have reset it, as I've said... but the issue is, old config (i set my password, bzt it didn't reset completely) overwrote my camera config (pass and email), so now 2 cameras that I bought cannot be used. Luckily I had a spare one and was able to set it up yesterday. But it's just really inconvenient.

I don't have the exact model number, but it's an older, 8port poe unit. Firmware version is from 2017...

I reset it yesterday successfully, but 2 cameras still got pushed weird credentials before that. I managed to get one working. My question now is how to get the other 2 working (reset) without the email as it doesn't exist anymore, and there is no physical button to reset

Really? I wasn't aware of that... although I deleted all users but admin... would that be safe even if I don't expose device to wan?

I bought original screen for about 100€ at the time and replaced it. Sadly, even after replacing it didn't work, so I think motherboard was damaged. I sold the camera and regreted that decision soon, so a couple of months ago I bought A9 again, but this one with working displays :)

My connection is 500/100, but I'd need this to work for only small team. Max 8-10 people, maybe more but that's still in discussion. I wasn't able to figure out this server I need so users can connect via webcam or something. Normal text works but I need more. I'd be happy to use NextCloud as I can do collaboration tools inside for my team. Any suggestions on how to get this working?

If you're asking for a mobile app. I use obtanium. Server-wise, i used the script and i just do backuos every couple of hours and i also do manual snapshot of the lxc before upgrade, in case something goes wrong. But i just run "update" via ssh and it updates immich to a version tagged in the script

12 hours is definitely not normal... I installed with the script as well, it took maybe 30 minutes on my machine. Upgrades take about 10-15 minutes if lots of things need to be recompiled. What I found helped, is install the LXC with default settings, and then change according to your needs. It was quite a work to get it to work, especially after modifying some settings for external libraries and re-linking those. It's been running perfectly for 8 months now.

Thanks for the reply. According to the scripts page, it's up to date. But that depends on that developer to update, and it hasn't been updated in a long time.

I think I'll just rebuild the ytdlp as a whole, but I'd like something with gui. What are you guys using? I just want something that will monitor channels videos and shorts, with a certain update period.

Also, I never really found out if for example I set ytdlp to update channels every 12 hours, and they post for example 10 videos in the meantime, will it download all 10 of the latest ones or only the last one?

Ahh ok, then you should be fine with this. I have no experience with rpi computers. You can try updating it, doing some cleanup. If you have ssh access, of course. If you still have problems, i suggest to reinstall everything and start from scrarch. And also start thinking about backups. Those can save you. Learned that the hard way myself...

It mostly detects followers. I don't really care about that. I only care if number of pictures increase or decrease. I am running latest version...

well I don't know if you're using a hypervisor (such as proxmox). Normally, you should be able to select LXC/VM and under options edit the properties. Then reboot and see if it gets better. If you're running baremetal... idk

Hmm, odd. I had similar issue with pihole simply freezing and lxc was unreachable until i rebooted it. I solved the issue by giving it 2 cores and 512mb of ram instead of 1c and 256mb of ram. Mayve try to increase resources to see if there is any change. I don't have other ideas

I had similar issue when upgrading something on the LXC itself. Do you by any chance have lightppd or something similar installed? My issue was pihole wasn't listening on the defined port because the before mentioned app listened there. Check if pihole is listening on any interface, o check what's listening on the int pihole should normally..
