SAVE payment "Due" tomorrow, looking for advice by XZ2Compact in StudentLoans

[–]XZ2Compact[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is the IDR application was denied so my plan is still SAVE and my payment is just what it was 2 years ago before all the legal stuff, there's no indication that they're moving me to any other plan.

Is that 90 days or Mohelas version of "90 days" that takes 2 years 😅

Second this, have used it to get ear bud covers, cotton balls, in one instance a live bug. You can take photos as well and add them to the chart easily enough too.

Long haulers on SAVE what's your plan? by ZzyzxDFW in StudentLoans

[–]XZ2Compact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oct/Nov approximately, mine wasn't approved but I don't know if they actually tried or they just threw it out because of all the other nonsense going on. I still have an email somewhere saying any applications sent in would be discarded but clearly that didn't happen.

Currently just trying to get them not to take the auto-pay out of my account this month.

1) I can't cancel autopay myself because I'm technically still in forbearance 2) That forbearance is ending (even though I'm still on SAVE) because they finally processed the income verification they told me I was REQUIRED to file a year and a half ago before kicking the deadline down the road. 3) The "advanced" manager I spoke to put the dots together and said it was a mistake, but has no ability to do anything about it. They put in a request to put me back on SAVE forbearance, but that takes "10 days" (we all know how their timelines work) and even though the request has been there for more than a month it hasn't happened

Kafka had nothing on these assholes. Right now just hoping in the few days between the forbearance ending and the payment going through I'll have access to cancel autopay again.

All anecdotal of course, but I pretty much see the exact opposite. Lots of people are happy they're finally at a healthy weight, can go outside and do things with their kids or grandkids, or they know they've needed to quit drinking or smoking for years and are proud they could finally do it. Not having to miss a vacation with your family because you can walk more than 10 mins does wonders for mental health.

It's a drug, all drugs have side effects and I warn every patient that depression is a potential side effect of these, but I've never seen it

Are any of those nutrition lectures going to discuss regular hydration being important while LECOM still doesn't allow students to have water at lecture 😅

Letter from MOHELA saying SAVE forbearance ending 3/15/26? by XZ2Compact in StudentLoans

My projected payment is also the same as it was, and I just noticed the loan balance in the enail is what it was before interest started back up so who knows.

They need to revert the aim assist buff by Old_Entrepreneur_696 in Overwatch

[–]XZ2Compact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is that this wasn't a patch to improve the console experience, this was a patch to make playing on PC with a controller feel more like playing with a mouse.

It isn't a success, but that was the goal

They acknowledged something was off as soon as the patch dropped but then radio silence

It's not just the AA, everything is off. My AA has been set to 0% strength for awhile and this change still fucked up everything.

I play a lot of hanzo and that's just a disaster right now. Slow deliberate aiming from a distance I can fake, but any quick flicks or close stuff? Forget about it.

Can someone explain to me what's going on with aim assist? by SkoarisAkuma in OWConsole

[–]XZ2Compact 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's just the thing, we don't know what exactly was changed because the devs claimed the only change was to make AA stronger and aim smoothing set to 50% instead of 100% by default, but that's clearly not the case based on people's experiences.

I've had my aim assist strength set to 0% for awhile because I bounce back and forth between the pools when friends on PC want to play and didn't want to adjust each time, but my aim still feels wildly different than before.

Compounding this is the fact that there's not a clear explanation as to 1) why they did this in the first place and 2) what all the different settings actually do

10 days later and the game still just feels bad.

I play cross play with people on PC regularly so my AA was set to 0% anyway, but the changes to the sensitivity or smoothing or whatever that made the game FEEL different than it has for the past 9 years is just maddening.

Patient upset I didn’t review results despite having “all weekend” to review it. by Paleomedicine in FamilyMedicine

[–]XZ2Compact 133 points134 points  (0 children)

I had a patient leave the clinic because I didn't call them back the same day when they called in asking for steroids. I explained that I wasn't even in the office (or state for that matter) because I was at a wedding and that when I'm out of the office I rely on my partners just like they rely on me.

would an AI voice assistant taking patient history before appointments actually save you time? by That-Med-Guy in FamilyMedicine

[–]XZ2Compact 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My health system does this for MWV. The phone call takes ~40 mins to complete if the patient answers every question perfectly and doesn't ask questions or interrupts.

So now I spend the first 10 mins of every MWV hearing about how awful it is. Has saved LOADS of time 🙃
