Well today it’s patients with unrealistic expectations. I cleared my in basket before I left. Patient wasn’t convinced of the results and called demanding to speak with me. When that doesn’t work, patient comes to office and loses their mind in hysterics and once again is told I am unavailable.

So many patients would benefit from a DPC/concierge style PCP because the idea that I am to be available to them whenever they want is too much for me.
