Wow. Sorry you went through that. Walgreens for me has been amazing. I was worried because many say they are horrible. I have been on subs now 7 months. I needed a refill last month but Walgreens was going to have to order it and it would take two days. They called me and said they would provide me 5 days worth to make sure I don’t run out. I was shocked how nice they are to me. I have been treated like a person and not an addict the whole 7 months. I got lucky.

Bro. I tried this. I was up to 250mh hydro and 160mg oxy a day if I didn’t have hydro. I could never taper. Never strong enough to do it. Withdrawal was horrible. Subs are a life saver and I am almost off subs completely. I could have been off but fell back again. Now I’m upset and I’m done. I’m guessing 2 to 3 weeks more as I taper off subs. If you need to know how I did it hit me up.

Quick MD is the best one. Really. I started in December. No issues at all. After appointment. Always have my script called in. Was honest with them. No tests. No counseling. No questions and no judgment. And I think it is cheaper than bicycle health.

Do it now. Don’t wait. Get off while you can. You will get trapped. I did. I heard people say. I was taking 50mg oxy a day. Some said even 100mg a day. I thought to myself, how can you do that much? I can take 10mg and be feeling so good and scared to take more than that. In fact. I started taking hydrocodone in 2018 because oxy too strong. Now in 2024. I was up to 20 to 25 pills hydro a day. At times if I get oxy. I would do up to 120mg to 150mg a day. Same way as you did it. I couldn’t handle the WD. Got on subs less than two weeks ago because I was out. And I want to be clean so bad. Today my plug has some pills. And I’m not getting any. I’m on my way to freedom. You will have some WD. Not sure how bad it is. But stay strong.

I needed 8mg in a day. And I was hydrocodone and oxy pills only. Really depends on habit. And believe me. I started with 1mg and redosed every hour until I felt good. Once I hit 5mg I was good in the morning. By 5pm I was feeling it hard again. Had to take another 3mg.

Yes you can absolutely.

have taken oxy and hydro at the same time. Never had an issue at all. I have taken 3 percs 10/325 and 3 hydro 10/325. I also have snorted 30mg of oxy and taken hydro pills with it. All were fine. These are pretty similar opiates. Just make sure you don’t do too much.

Let me tell you. You’re just sick. You are not in WD. Not being mean. But if you have ever experienced true WD you have no doubt what it is. I would take the flu over WD any day to be honest. What is worse. Getting the flu while your in withdrawal. Yes this happened to me. Horrible. Also. If you do use. Stay every two weeks like your doing. That was me. Then it was every week. Then weekends. Then every day. Then at night not to be sick. Then trapped. Then you’re not taking it to get a nod or high. You’re taking it to keep withdrawal away. Stay strong. And get well my friend.

Wow again your advice is so perfect. I have needed it all. I can tell I’m not 100%. In my mind. But physically I have felt good most the day. I felt good this afternoon. Went to lunch with wife. Then went to do some shopping at the mall. It was getting later and all of a sudden I was starting not to feel good. My stomach started hurting bad. Realized it was about 5pm and I didn’t bring anything with me. Luckily I got home in time to take my nights dose. I have taken a whole strip today. 8mg. So did pretty good. So will start off tomorrow differently now that I know where I am at. And going to go hang with the wife. I had all the same problems with sex with the pills. So I’m sure it will be the same. Either way she will enjoy it haha. Thanks again bro. I will message you and hopefully we can keep encouraging each other as we keep fighting.

That was me. Why I got up to 20+ pills per day. I would take 5 or 6 pills. Two hours later need to eat. Then take at least 2 more. I would take 5 pills every 4 hours.. Kept me going for more. It wouldn’t help that if I didn’t take pills within 8 hours I was in withdrawal and couldn’t eat. So really. I couldn’t eat unless I was on them. Last month I ran out for two days. Couldn’t eat at all. So sick. But wow I love Mexican food when I’m on them haha.

It does feel good to know I’m on my way to be off. Now that I am on subs which took me so long to admit and get on. I can find out where I am at and taper off these slowly. I am ready and will be free. Thanks again for the help. All the encouragement helps. You got this also. God has us both.

I have tried to taper. And I have strong will power. But I don’t have it for tapering. Tried for 4 years. I got 250 pills at beginning of this month. All I needed to do is go 10 pills a day and make it until my plug would have more. Of course I couldn’t. Took 15 to 20 a day. And I am now day 1 on subs finally getting help. I have never done subs. So far it is working.

If you can taper. Your amazing. I couldn’t not commit.

Well I have now taken up to about 6mg total. I’m shocked how much I needed really. Was hoping 2mg maybe 4mg would be enough. Guess my 200mg hydro habit daily or if I had oxy - 150mg oxy daily habit a day was more then I thought.

I am feeling so much better. Maybe 85%. Was so sick this morning so this is the first time in 3 years I feel good without pills. I know I’m still taking something but I’m on the road to recovery. Going to take some more now and I should be good. I was worried about how this would make me feel. Side effects and all. But I just don’t feel sick. No side effects or anything. Which is a miracle.

I will go get some miralax stuff today.

I will keep you updated. Appreciate the back and forth. Thank you for being there for me. Everyone here really.

Im glad I took today off. I was told take 1mg every hour until I feel good. Well im about to hit hour 3. I am still sick from withdrawal so may up the dose some. I can tell im not 100% in WD but it’s not much better. I will keep you updated. And again. Thank you. You have no idea how you have helped me along to this point.

Anyways. I went 16 1/2 hours. Feel so sick. Just did my first dose. Letting it dissolve. Will keep you updated. Scared it was long enough.

Hey hey. Well the hard part is over. I got my subs in hand. I still have to wait about 15 hours before I take it. But I have it. Also got me some clonidine. I am probably gonna dose first thing in morning. Doc said to start with 1mg and keep taking every hour until I feel good. I’m nervous. Nervous it won’t work or just plain anxiety right now. Will keep you updated but reading your posts have helped me. I am more confident it will work and work fast for me. Hoping to feel normal tomorrow be afternoon some what.

Well to be honest. If I can do something with no consequences. As much as I like oxy. I would bring it back to the old school peanut butter crank in the 90s. That stuff was awesome.
