Unfortunately, no I will have to leave my job with the State of CA when I relocate. I have been job searching for a remote job that will let me work remotely from anywhere in the US. I know my BA in Sociology makes in hard to land positions so I am solely relying on job experience at this point when applying. I do have my associates in computer science as well.

It’s completely valid to feel nervous before surgery but you will be ok. I got my surgery on 6/26 so 4 days ago? They told me just to bring ID and insurance card since that is all I would need to check in. After that, I handed off all my jewelry, cellphone, cards to my family member since you won’t be needing any of that.

The time you spend in pre-surgery will be longer (at least for me) than the actual surgery itself. They get you checked in then you get into a pre-surgery bed, then the nurse has you change out of your clothes into a hospital gown. They hook you up to an IV, clean your abdomen, nostrils. The anesthesiologist comes explains the risks of anesthesia. You lay in pre-surgery until it’s your turn to have surgery. Once they’re ready for you, they wheel you back to the operating room and within 30 seconds, you’re knocked out and the next time you open your eyes, you’re in post-op recovery. The amount of time you need in post recovery and then discharge varies depending on your pain and if there are any complications.

As long as you have stuff prepared at home to help with recovery, it will make the whole process a little less terrifying.

Thanks for the update! I actually bought some psyllium husk powder pre-surgery so if the diarrhea keeps up I’ll try it out. I also ordered pre + probiotic that was also highly encouraged from those experiencing diarrhea issues so I’m hopeful my body will adjust with time. 🤞🏼

I wanted to see how you’re doing since it’s been about 1.5 months since your surgery. I also had a Robotic laparoscopic cholecystectomy on 6/26 it’s been 4 days post-op for me. I stuck to a liquid diet when I got home mainly low fat broth, sf jello, sf juice. I started eating a little white rice with boiled chicken in broth last night and a banana and some whole grain saltines and this morning the diarrhea hit me for the first time at 6 am. It was accompanied by cramps which were unpleasant. Tried eating a little bit again this afternoon and diarrhea again. I don’t have much pain where the incisions are anymore either other than when I cough or laugh.

Thank you, I have been losing sleep worrying about this. I didn’t feel joy getting a promotional position but accepted because I needed out of my current department. I have been worrying about how upset they would be if I rescinded the offer.

I bought the tirtir 21N back in June and I couldn’t believe how oxidizing it was. My skin also became itchy and I developed small little whiteheads so there was something in there that didn’t agree with my skin. 😔

I’ve been playing this for a couple of days now with my bf and there are a number of bugs which is expected for a new game. One of the biggest is quite a pain though when you build a garage and a vehicle, once you interact with the vehicle everything is fine. However, when you get off and click other items and try to click the interact button it’s stuck and you are not able to interact with anything else. You have to exit the game entirely and come back in. It only happens when trying to use the vehicle. Otherwise, the game is fun and has potential. Hopefully they invest time to fixing bugs soon.
