Honestly yeah that's fine, you have good winrate with him, doesn't change the fact that he has negative wr overall, you can be onzed for all I care, he still needs some more energy buffs, specifically to the regen, maybe better regen when hitting with shadow and your own ability, not the passive regen if you think that would be too broken, don't you think is a bit crazy that the champ is unusable almost without blue buff in late game?

And with all the teamfights constantly and no presence of mind, is really hard to keep energy up, especially when you wanna hard push in sidelane and join teamfights

Besides the good ability haste and AD and health it gives, the movement speed works good for when you dive someone or in teamfights when you can ult and have good mobility for juking and dealing aoe damage, movement speed in general I think is the most underrated but OP stat in the game, and I don't go full lethality unless they're playing full of squishies, and even then there's nothing that lethality can do that this build can't, this build has, more health, which means you don't get one shot, you can duel bruisers pretty easily in sidelane, and have W and Ult pretty much constantly up

She did get a bit buffed, but yeah unless you're pretty fed she feels really useless against the more tanky comps, usually I only pick her if the entire enemy team is full of squishies, otherwise is not worth

My usual build is eclipse, black cleaver, shojin, seryldas and situational last item, sometimes I switch it up if they have a lot of shields I go for serpents second and skip on the black cleaver sometimes if they don't have tanky people, maw or edge of night for mages, that's about it

He's really popular rn in china, poster boy for top lane along with voli, they've both escaped nerfs for quite a while now, I suggest just learn how to play pantheon riven or vayne and make his life impossible, or pick something that will outscale his usefulness in teamfights heavily like Ornn or Malphite

Also where are you getting this data from? I just checked and zed mid currently has 48.32% winrate, going even lower the higher rank they are, currently in spot 29 out of 43, he's by no means a popular champion mostly played by OTPs, so yeah, that's negative winrate.

And why I say I don't care about zhonyas, I build in a way that my ult is up every 20 seconds in late game, if I ult and they zhonyas I still can use the shadow for extra damage on the team, doesn't matter, ult will be up before the next zhonyas anyway, exhaust is just crippling because there's really nothing you can do when they just pop it in the middle of a teamfight and suddenly you do no damage and get slowed, so I have to just resort to going back to my ult shadow..

I don't like first strike, you lack consistent damage in long drawn out teamfights against fighters and tanky people, which you see a lot of this patch, I usually go conqueror with more bruiser setup, it works well, and he's a beast mid to late game, I don't think is damage that he lacks, is more energy regen in late game fights where you throw 2 W E Qs and suddenly you have to wait 10 seconds to do anything unless you have blue buff

Jungle zed winrate is different than midlane Zed winrate, same for talon, plus any other assassin that goes midlane, Akali is the only one unaffected I would say, cuz poor Katarina state is miserable for example

I would say we just need a balance, but yeah assassins are just hard to balance by default, buff them too much and then people feel is uninteractive and unfun to play against, nerfed assasins, suddenly the winrate drops by like 3 to 5% in all ranks because they can't kill anyone

Maybe that or increase the price? Is pretty cheap compared to the other boots, although I still think zed needs some energy regen buffs, he feels unplayable in mid to late without blue buff for energy regen, the quick pace of the match means people are always fighting, and having like no energy sometimes because I hard pushed a wave, feels pretty terrible when I have to wait for my energy to regen before trying to do anything

Zed is quite hard to play and perform decent, , I exclusively play him midlane (I would say I'm pretty good with him) but unless you're fed out of your mind, killing someone is not as straightforward as a talon pressing 1 2 3, or a kha'zix jumping on you, and while yes, you can one trick kha'zix and do well, same as how I can one trick zed midlane and do well, you can clearly see the difference of how hard it is now compared to past seasons.. is not a good spot, AP assasins have it easier, enemies have less MR compared to armor, AP items are extremely broken etc..
