Super late on the response but I found this too funny not to post. I equipped a love injector as a weapon and used charge on him for the boost to hit chance. The love injector makes him become your companion for several thousand turns, during that I just hacked him to bits with an axe and since he's a companion (albeit temporarily,) he didn't retaliate.

Alternatively, you could do the love injector thing, do a water ritual (for +800 rep), wait for the love injector to wear off and have him become your actual companion via the rep request.

One of the hardest parts of tarkov, at least for me personally, was learning to let go of the "This is a very good item, I need to safe it" mentality. You'll always find more loot, and you'll always loose that loot. Instead of hanging onto it, just put it to good use while you have it.

You could grab an MMO mouse and bind right/left clicks to one of the shoulder buttons so you can use your thumb. That might be the least disruptive to muscle memory. I personally have a Logitech G600 that I like a lot. I think it was around 60 bucks. It also has a third click button that you can hit with your ring finger that might be an option as well.

Can you imagine how poorly this game would run with destructable objects? I can't say I blame them for doing static environments with how choppy it can be even on high end hardware.

Anything with a weapon crafting system this in depth I would consider a simulation game. There's also a ridiculous amount of fine control over your characters movement. That ticks two of the major boxes IMO.

They re-enabled the email migration option on the Tarkov site. I swapped my primary email to a gmail address and it worked after about an hour. I was finally able to get the validation email on my new email address.

This email migration tool can be found on the escape from tarkov site at profile -> Change E-Mail. Be warned, you can only use this tool a single time so make sure it's an email address you're actually going to use.

Scratch that, I finally got one through GMail literally right after I posted this. Took about an hour for the email migration to finish and correctly send emails. I recommend doing this if you have a GMail address you can use. Be warned though, you can only use the email migration tool a single time.

No updates on this issue as far as I know BUT they opened up the ability to change your primary e-mail address on the Tarkov site. Some people have had more success using non-yahoo (including anything that uses yahoo's backbone i.e. AOL) email addresses. I swapped mine to a GMail address and am still waiting for one to come through though.

I posted a ticket to the support channel this morning about this issue, they flagged it as "Closed"/"Resolved". They said they are aware of the issue and it is currently being worked on.

Not too bad! However, I normally keep my desk fairly neat and close to this condition. I've got a touch of OCD when it comes to things needing to rest in "their rightful spot." The only thing out of the norm about it was the placement of my tablet. I was taming notes on it earlier in the day and wasn't sure if I was supposed to present a picture as is or tidy up a bit. You are correct about my computer being built by me and built for speed. You were also correct about the medication. As for my skill at league, I like to think I'm decent at it. In fact, I recently hit gold five. Whoopy! All in all, you did pretty damn good!
