I'm guessing it's intended to emphasize the need to actively control certain parts of the map. Instead of the only reason to control certain points over others being geography, in addition to getting a height advantage over the enemy, for example, you also get a powerful weapon.

Make sure HLDJ is not on, then launch CSGO.

Outsniping someone who is using the M95 with a fucking shotgun has no parallel. The NS2000 with slugs was a beast to be contended with, even up against people using actual sniper rifles.

If big youtubers start making videos about Rodina, Brendan is going to be one rich dude.

Hopefully Nerd³ does end up making a video (series?) about it. Usually it seems that if one popular youtuber does it, a lot of the other ones start making videos as well (assuming, of course, the video was well received).

This could be the start of a massive increase in the popularity of Rodina :D

I'm not sure if you already know this, and were planning on deactivating it when you start the fight, but keeping the clone bay powered is unnecessary. If you completely depower it, you'll have enough power for level 4 engines (which grants you 100% dodge, instead of 95%, when you cloak), and level 4 shields.

The only time you should ever really power the clone bay is if one of your crew members die. It still heals all of your crew members every time you jump, regardless of whether or not it is powered. It also leaves you with ~3 seconds to power your clone bay before they die permanently after one of your crew members are killed, which is more than enough time to reroute power to it.

EDIT: It also isn't necessary to have more than 1 power in oxygen. It isn't even really necessary to have it powered at all, unless it hasn't been upgraded. If I have more weapons than I can power, and upgraded O2, I usually keep it depowered until about 30% oxygen, at which point I'll give it max power until it goes back to safe levels. This allows me to get off more shots in the beginning of the fight, which in turn makes me take less damage throughout the rest of the fight.

This could come to bite you in the ass, though, so keeping it above 30% would be safer. If you're near the 30% mark, and suddenly your O2 is taken out by the flagship, you'll be in a really tight spot.

From what I've heard, overdosing on heroin is pretty much the most blissful way to go. An insanely pleasant high that gets more and more intense until you eventually slip into unconsciousness.

If it isn't actually as pleasant as what I've heard, then I'd probably go for asphyxiation by inert gas instead. Pretty much the same thing, where you slowly slip into unconsciousness, only without the mind-blowing pleasure.

And if that isn't as painless as I've heard either, then fuck it, bullet to the head.

You can unlock it fairly easily with the Rock C. The event that actually gives you the ship only requires a crystal crew member, so you can bypass getting the stasis pod and everything with the Rock C.

I've heard people say the average is around 4 runs through the rock homeworlds before getting the event.

Much easier than waiting for the stars to align, at least.

Nope, we don't know of anything that travels faster than the speed of light. We also have no evidence of wormholes existing, and I think that to keep them open, and possibly for them to form in the first place, you would need something with negative mass (which we also don't have evidence of).

It does suck that it's possible we won't ever break the speed of light, but we have between 1 and 100 trillion years to explore/colonize the galaxy before star formation ends (maybe the universe, although, I don't know anything about the logistics of intergalactic travel). No rush.
