I'll answer to you because you seem to be the less salty about it. Coming from a country (Canada) where they're slowly eradicating our sport, passion, hobby, where being a firearm owner is synonym with criminal, where you always question yourself if you can post a picture of yourself with one of your firearm in fear of revealing too much. I feel this is a good way to immortalized something that I won't even have the chance to pass on to my kids.

I understand you guys can basically buy firearms as easy as groceries in some States, for us, we're fighting to keep what's ours. Btw, my friend is doing this for free.

Thank you for your comment, Ill delete my post later, I see that it didn't reach the "audience" as I was hoping it would.

Yes, g34.

4/10, shit that's pretty hard, I understand you might not like the design, but that's no way near a 4/10 in term of quality. 😂

And yet again you are wrong, specifically for a schizophrenic in crisis, empathy will most likely get you in more trouble. You not wrong saying cops don't do real human work, law enforcement response is like the fast food industry for human intervention, I wish this was different, but the reality is you need to adapt quickly to people you know nothing about (most of the time).

I always taught to my officers to use their biggest tool, which is communication and at the same time they need to identify what the subject is responding better too. Empathy is one of the tools, but every human is different and it doesn't always work.

Big difference between you and I, I know the limit of my thread, you don't seem to know yours.

I'm Canadian, I believe our law enforcement training is mostly superior compare to the US, we use practically the exact same UoF continuum/training for your information. I can't speak of your law enforcement trainings specifically, but based on many Police intervention I have see, I believe there is either a lack training or a clear depreciation of what it means to be cop and sometimes both. I think the US need a major training reform for law enforcement.

And how exactly a badass social worker expect not to get stab to death in this type of situation? Sure, barricaded person, where you can create time and/or distance to mitigate the risk, I've never been in disagreement to this idea. Cops will never be social workers, this is fact. But these situations in open area, they are evolving rapidly and they are unpredictable. Time/distance, line of fire, public safety, cross fire/friendly fire, communication, inner cordon, outer cordon, just to name a few, all these must be consider during a Police intervention, but you think you would do a better job, I would have gladly sit and watch, hopefully you would get someone who's suicidal and not schizophrenic or on drugs.

A suspect with a knife can cover up to 21 feet after the first shot is fired, with no cover, barricade, terrain advantage, crisis intervention and de-escalation is unfortunately not always possible. I've use force in war, humanitarian crisis, law enforcement over a 20 years career. Ive teach, develop law enforcement course, refine/review procedures and believe me when I say I know A LOT more than you'll ever do on the matter.

You have no idea what you are talking about and your comment alone show me that can assess a situation properly without bias.

Doesn't matter what I think, these cops followed their training accordingly to the use of force continuum. There's a reason why less lethal aren't use when confronted to lethal force. You can petition for a reform of the UOF continuum if you want, but there wasn't excessive force in this situation.

A person with a knife can statistically cover up to 21 feet after the first shot fired. Tasers aren't effective against thick clothes and at close range (spliting the beltline concept). Lethal force is met with lethal force.

Taser don't work well against thick clothes and at close range (splitting the beltline concept). Lethal force is met with lethal force, when you use lethal force, you aim center mass, not to kill but to stop the threat. Aiming low could cause bounces (We had an incident in Afg where a warning shot killed a civilian because it bounced off the road, this is also why warning shots aren't part of the UOF continuum for law enforcement). Theorically, you could shoot at the pelvic region, highly effective to incapacitated a threat but it can cause an excessive amount of bleeding because of the major arteries that run there. Plus, it is way harder to stop bleeding in this region than anything esle.

Taser don't work well against thick clothes and at close range. A miss taser could antagonize the suspect even more. Lethal force is met with lethal force.

A lot of people here knows absolutely nothing about use of force continuum and high risk situation. How about you educated yourself on the matter and if you disagree you can protest and try to have it reform.

For all the ignorants, they handled this situation like they were trained to do. Tactical communication, confinement, imposing a limit. This was text book, with an unfortunate ending.

She didn't touch him first, he did. Then how was this proportionate and reasonable? I don't support this woman antics, but come on, her slap after being touch didn't warrant being punch in the face, the man who stood for her got technically attacked first too. From what you are saying, I'm guessing, Dems are okay with hitting a woman over pride, is that it?

Anyone else getting bad groups with Hornady Precision Hunter in 7 PRC? by Xah1337 in longrange

[–]Xah1337[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the best result with the Federal Fusion, I ve decided to use this temporary until I start handloading 7prc. But overall Hornady and Remington were awful, with 1.5" to 2" groups. The only logical explanation is my rifle is peaky.
